Lovely coverted chapel, beautiful setting right next to the cathedral witb great views over the main town , plenty of secure free parking, castle and cathedral on doorstep, plenty of independent shops and places to eat. It is at the top of a very steep hill, so we didn't venture too often into the main town at the bottom, but there was plenty to do for two days.

The property itself was very good, the room was nice and very clean. Location close to the cathedral and castle was excellent. Continental breakfast in a bag delivered to the room was good.
Major problem that although there was good secure parking - the parking itself was under mature trees. Both mornings we came out to find our car very liberally splatted with bird droppings which was disgusting to deal with. The hotel obviously knows about this as there are 2 buckets of water and a sponge provided for guests to spend a ‘pleasant’ quarter of an hour de-messing their car .
