Comfort, views, quiet, historical character, finishing touches, fresh juice and milk, great communication so knew exactly what to expect, parking which wrapped around our stay.

A very comfortable and relaxing stay.
The property is beautifully decorated. Our room (25) was lovely and very comfortable. It was spotlessly clean with a gorgeous bathroom (and lots of hot water). The location is perfect for exploring historical Lincoln and the parking is very good.
You are offered a choice of breakfasts. On the first morning we chose to use the local cafe that the hotel has an arrangement with, but this was very disappointing. We chose the free Continental breakfast on our second morning and this was much better.

Amazing
Fantastic location, very short walk to great shops, restaurants and bars. Easy access to get to via car and the private parking in such a great city centre location was a bonus. The main building is a fantastic little old church conversion which fits great with the historic feel of the surrounding town / city of Lincoln, feels a very special location just on its looks alone and it’s even looked amazing in the wet cold weather we had. Very well thought out, clean warm and interesting accommodation, had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Continental breakfast was simple but arrived on time each morning, the baked elements were fresh and still warm. Great location for a grown ups weekend and easy access strait into the centre of Lincoln for a nice days shopping, eating or exploring. Nice little touch was the amazing view of the cathedral and the lovely back ground noise of the bells. An amazing touch was the arrangements of our towels on the bed in the shape of a birthday cake ( was a birthday weekend ) with some balloons and a card, all provided by team at the lodge, great! Highly recommended.

A converted victorian church with free gated parking, in a perfect location.
Loved the location, half way up steep hill. loved the quirkyness of it being a converted old church. Loved the room on the ground floor, so wish we could see the other rooms and what they are like. Piping hot water, super clean room, comfy bed. Lots of refreshments included. Free and safe parking great too. Romi who greeted us was nice and she supplied us with oat milk for our drinks no problem. Great view, it was misty in Feb but must be great on a clear day.
Room was a little too warm. The room was right next to the staircase (room 20) so quite noisy and woke us a few times. Maybe complete covering of the stairs in carpet might help. ?? This time of year very wet so the carpark was very muddy. Partly gravelled only. I think quite a few do this but drove down the wrong entrance. There's is a sign on the wall and we thought that was the way...it's further up the hill where you enter. An arrow pointing left might help.
