The location is the key eason for staying here, located close to town and sites and the hotel has a great view of the town,
Very nice tea in the room.
Carparking is difficult as it is on a steep hill with only room for two cars side by side.
The room was cold, without extra blankets or pillows and the beds were not particularly comfortable. There is no reception or easy availability of staff at night, with only a mobile phone number to contact in emergencies. We therefore felt uncomfortable calling at 11pm for blankets.
The breakfast was reasonably nice but felt a little mean given the small portions and additional fee for a cooked breakfast.
The decor in the communal areas was quite tired and unfortnately the overall experience did not meet expectation.
