A perfect hassle free stay

This was a return visit to the Tower Hotel and it was just as wonderful as I remember. We wanted to visit an exhibition at the County Assembly rooms,, conveniently just around the corner. We arrived early intending to park up and check in later but we were able to check in and were given a parking permit for a handy space outside the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff are so friendly and polite. The room was great with a lovely view of the tower and I was delighted at breakfast to find eggs royale (along with many options) on the menu. This Hotel is a fantastic option if you are visiting the many attractions in the old part of the city. I recommend it 100% and have in fact just booked to go back in April for our daughter's graduation.

Location was great as next to Cathedral and Castle. Rooms are lovely, very clean throughout hotel, bar and restaurant and staff amazing. Superb fresh breakfast too!

The room was lovely and clean, breakfast was delicious. Possibly changed sausages supplier? Not as nice.

The heating in the bedroom was on full blast and there didn’t seem to be any way of controlling it, the dial on the radiator did nothing. It was far too hot.

It was a little noisy until closing time with the pub area being close to the rooms but this is unavoidable and did not detract at all from the overall experience.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location

Great location, lovely spacious room with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was gorgeous & staff very attentive♥️

Not a major issue but would be nice to be able to turn the radiator down or be provided a fan as the room got quite hot and stuffy, even with the window open. Wouldn’t stop me from staying here again though!

Excellent stay in the heart of Lincoln.

Close to amenities and centre! Perfect for a day and night exploring Lincoln’s history. Food, room & staff are lovely- only issue is the heating, it can be too hot! Breakfast is yummy & can usually park right outside with the parking permit! Highly recommend.

The Tower Hotel is perfectly situated to enjoy Lincoln, especially uphill/bail gate area. The food is astonishing, we are there one night and it was exceptional. Breakfast is also first class. Staff are beyond helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is fantastic. Decor is lovely. A place where you walk through the doors and instantly unwind.

Shower cubicle needs some in depth cleaning & maintenance, door not attached at the bottom & lots of mould growth in the shower & in the corner underneath the basin. There are cleaning materials that will remove this!

Hotel in great location with the potential to improve with some TLC.

The staff were very friendly and professional. They did their best to make our stay comfortable in the circumstances. There was a good breakfast choice which was a good start to our day. The restaurant is a pleasant place to eat with a reasonable choice of food. The Towers Hotel location is excellent for the Cathedral and Castle.

Overall I would say the Room needs some immediate TLC . When we arrived our room (room 12) was very cold, which was put down to the fact that the hotel had been closed for the 2 days prior to our arrival. However the temperature situation did not improve, no matter how much the staff tried and in the end we gave up. Fortunately the room did have an portable electric oil heater which did hep a little. (The window was the source of a cool draft and had not been fitted very well) The lack of power points was overcome by two extension leads containing multiple points (one of which was used for the electric oil heater and trailed across the floor). The bathroom also needs some extensive TLC I and anyone with mobility issues would struggle to have a shower.

Great stay

Lovely, quiet location. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great breakfast. A very lively bar/restaurant downstairs but once in the room we couldn’t hear a peep! If we were to ever visit Lincoln again we would choose here and definitely try the restaurant next time!

Lovely place to stay

Every member of staff whom we met was pleasant and very obliging to help. The hotel was as described, very clean and a bit quirky. The bar was well stocked and reasonably well priced. We did not eat in the hotel apart from breakfast. The breakfast was very good and hot.

The room was overly hot the first night, so we mentioned it the following morning, and someone did have a look at it for us.

The room is good

The walkway to the rooms was stuffy as there is no ventilation. The room window difficult to open for fresh air. You can easily perceive smell of alcohol from when you walked into the reception area.

Enjoyed our stay and was made very welcome

We have stayed here before and love the location and as mum and daughter on our own feel safe. Nice touch that our cases were in the room when we arrived after dropping off earlier. Staff are very friendly. Great breakfast and lovely decor in breakfast room.

Disappointed with the size of the room as it was booked 9 months ago and was much smaller than when we previously stayed.
