The staff were very friendly and informative and the accommodation was very comfortable.

The room was of a good generous size, but the toilet seat, settee and chair were too low and was difficult getting upright on my feet. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was good but I missed having a couple of fried eggs with the sausages etc. the location was spot on for me visiting my family making it easier to get to them, just wish that I could have been able to park for free as I am a disabled OAP. I will most likely be staying at the Lincoln hotel again when I next visit my family.

I didn’t like the paying for parking as being disabled with a blue badge is supposed to help me with costs and being close to the entrance as possible, but I suppose the problem is out of holiday inn’s control. Wish you could put fried eggs on the breakfast menu please.

Great staff and comfortable, quiet, hotel. Breakfast needs improving.

Location and parking good with hotel discount. My friend could charge her car easily too. The reception staff were amazing and should be recommended. Quiet rooms and well kitted out. Fresh milk was given on request too. Not too far to walk to get to the centre.

Breakfast was chaotic and they ran out of yoghurt which was annoying. None being delivered till later apparently.

Perfect one night stay.

Clean, easy to find. Good sized rooms, comfortable beds. Quiet overnight.

A bit further from the town centre than we expected, but a nice walk and good exercise. Staff were great. Rooms clean and comfortable. Lots of restaurants close by (incl. Maccas and Pizza Hut), with pubs and other places just a short walk away. Morning breakfast was fine. No frills, but everything you need for a pleasant stay. Just what you'd expect from a Holiday Inn Express.

I actually booked this hotel by mistake, I normally stay at the travel lodge in the town centre but I will now be staying here instead. Comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good too.

The duvet was a little small for the bed.

A great place for few nights stopover

Very good value for money. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Had a problem with hair dryer and it was sorted immediately. Luke on reception was first class.

Not sure that air conditioning was working properly but didn't mention it. Not in room long enough.

Comfortable stay, made even better by the head of reception.

Location was excellent for exploring the city and room was clean and comfortable. The manager of the reception desk did a fantastic job - in spiye of appearing to work long shifts she was unfailingly cheerful and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice for me as a coeliac and staff kept everything moving smoothly, in spite of everyone arriving for breakfast at once! Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Convenient location for visiting the tourist centre. Parking on site. Buffet breakfast. Clean room with coffee making facility. Decent shower.

I'm not keen on ANPR style parking and how you have to sort this out yourself with a non-intuitive parking machine. The buffet breakfast ran out of one or two things.

Great location, walking distance to Waterfront, shops and resturants.

Hot breakfast was good and really liked the quiet rooms opposite the carpark. We took our car to the Castle & Cathedral carparks, before we checked in. Definitely worth a visit, especially the climb on Steep Hill.

Carparking charge £10. Could have done with more fruit options at breakfast.

Have stayed here a few times now and always, it's convenient and the staff are friendly. The breakfast is better now than it used to be. The beds are fairly comfortable.

Had booked the room months ago and for some reason, the room was really quite small. I know this because the room I last booked there for the same amount of people, was alot bigger.

Ideal location, clean

Great location central to the high street, bars and shopping. Onsite parking with reduced code from the hotel for 24hrs. Ideal than having to find parking elsewhere. Receptionist was very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Comfortable and convenient stay

Everything was made easy for us, lots of communication in advance about breakfast options etc. It was nice not having to worry about finding a parking space. Room immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable, I had an excellent night's sleep. Twin rooms are hard to come by, so that was appreciated as well!

In my tired state on arrival, I missed the button to claim the parking discount - this was very easily rectified though so not a problem. The hotel is on a large roundabout which you have to navigate before walking to town - again, not really a problem, and the positives far outweigh the negatives.

Prefectly good hotel, particularly if the location is good for you.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Parking, check-in and reception was all excellent. Good size comfortable bed with decent pillows. The environment was quiet and we slept well. Bathroom and shower also very good.

The location was not not great for us. Walking into the centre involved crossing very busy roads and took about 8 minutes. Breakfast was ok but with limited options (all buffet style).

Very convenient for us to visit our som at university.

The layout of the room was good. We liked the way the bathroom door when open made the toilet area private. Our dog enjoyed the treats. Particularly liked that we could bring our dog. Liked that there was a bar in an Express hotel Liked being able to get a cooked breakfast. Nice to be able to get decaf tea.

Breakfast food area not quite big enough when there was a breakfast rush. The milk dispenser was awkward and wasted milk. I didnt find the marmalade but apparently it was in a dispenser which sounds a bit odd for marmalade. There wasn’t much nice space to walk the dog. £30 for the dog is on the expensive side. We usually pay between £10 - £30.
