Comfortable room and gracious hosts

My room was very comfortable and I got two nights of excellent sleep. No breakfast option but the room was stocked with biscuits and lots of supplies for hot drinks. I got to meet both hosts during my stay and both were so friendly and accommodating. Easy access to a fridge, microwave, and cutlery. They also allowed me to leave my car parked for several hours after I checked out. Can't recommend this guest house enough!

Money value, close to city center

It was nice clean room and clean bathroom. Generous coffee/tea/ biscuits variety in the room. I was just for a night, unfortunately , I forgot my iphone charger in the room and contacted them Sunday afternoon to ask if it has been found. Darren was very kind and post it out to my private address that I much appreciate his kindness.

A pleasant stay and incredible value

If you want 5* luxury look elsewhere - and pay 10 times the price. If you want value for money South Park Guest House is unbeatable. For a budget hotel my room was surprisingly well equipped clean and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. The location is very convenient - what’s not to like👍

On a couple of occasions I spent some time in my room during the day when the central heating was off so it was a bit chilly. I didn’t raise it at the time. I’m sure if I had a fix would have been offered.

Great location, darren very organised by getting in touch via phone call to explain the process, very clean large room, lovely on suite, beds really comfy! And even had a fan in the room to make a good nights sleep, definetely visit again

A convenient stop off - away from the centre of Lincoln

This was a pleasant stay, helped by the exceedingly conscientious owner who was keen to make sure that I managed to get to my room, despite there being no staff on site. The room was well provided with tea/coffee etc. with en suite and a good shower. It was a healthy walk from the centre of the city.

Though on a busy, noisy road (with ear plugs provided), it felt like the Marie Celeste. It was a healthy walk away from the centre of Lincoln. .

Great value for money, very good friendly customer service, made my stay very easy and welcoming

Great price and fine with only one night weekend stay too, fantastic friendly customer service before, during and post stay, very clean facilities, it's only a flat easy 20-25 minute stroll to the train station / centre, wouldn't hesitate to stay again, ideal for a shopping stopover day or a concert at the castle, great value for money

If I'm being really picky, there was no breakfast. However, the large dining room had facilities to make your own and cutlery was privided.

Excellent stay

The owners gave me a free upgrade from a single to a double room, so the price I paid was excellent value. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the shower was excellent. The owners made it clear there was no breakfast, but that there was a fridge, toaster & microwave that all guests good use. Onsite parking.

Even though the windows are double glazed, you can hear the noise from the busy main road, if your room is at the front of the house. However the owners do supply earplugs.

Female solo traveller

From check-in to check-out everything was excellent. I arrived early and Darren checked me in over the phone without any hassle. I was lucky enough to be upgraded from a single to a double room which was very good of the hosts and the room and bathroom were spotless. The host communication from prior to arrival,and onwards was very good and the guest house also had the added bonus of a small parking area. I would certainly recommend this guest house and will definitely be staying again.

Nice place very central. Nice people but didn't like being pestered

They gave me a free room upgrade, which was nice of them.

Owners probably absolutely lovely people but with my mental health issues I very much didn't appreciate unsolicited calls and many messages and trying to push me for arrival times and even a leaving time. It was a little break and spoiled it a little. Allthough you were just trying to help, I didn't like it, it stressed and annoyed me and made me feel uncomfortable. I am weird though but still cannot understand what difference my arrival and leaving time made and why you pestered me so much. I also got the terms of my stay and am not stupid. Just very much annoyed me for times when I was trying to enjoy myself and was shattered. Very strange, never ever had anything like it

Unbeateable Customer Service

Nice townhouse oppposite green belt area with on-site parking. Easy 1 mile walk into centre. High level of cleanliness throughout building & room, Generous sized room with modern boutique style bathroom. Exceptional customer service from Darren & Sally - always available for support & constanly in contact to ensure uncomplicated arrival/welcome & comfortable relaxed stay.

A hassle free stop over.

Great location for me, only a shortest walk (for me) to get to Lincoln center. Parking was great, so didn't have to worry about finding somewhere. They did provide great information to park if no room on the property to park. Room was a good size with shower room, very clean & modern. Enough refreshment supplies to float a battleship, which was great as I like my tea & coffee. I had been upgraded which was a great surprise. The property is well looked after and clean. Dealing with the owner was a breeze & he was very polite & friendly. Will use again, (if not all booked up which may be a possibility as it's a Prime stop over option).

Superb guesthouse short walk from Lincoln centre :)

Modern, clean, comfortable room in traditional homely guesthouse. Friendly staff phoned prior to visit and were on site if needed. I asked for a quiet room and received an unexpected upgrade to a double after booking a single. Shower unit spacious and modern, toilet spotless. Amazed by the price. Would happily stay again and I hope to! Facilities included tv, easy-chair and desk, tea/coffee and room was lovely and warm on arrival! Lincoln City FC Football Stadium, shops, restaurants and cafe in easy reach.

It's a good 10-15min walk from the main town, though as mentioned there are other shops nearby. There was a little traffic noise (Sat night) but overall I slept very well and whilst I didn't use them, earplugs are provided by the guesthouse. No reflection on the hotel, but the suggested walking route from the city (via Scorer St/Sincil Bank) takes you via river towpath and Football Ground, so nervous walkers may prefer to stick to the main road at night.
