OK, not value for money though

Location was good, i ordered room service late and the reception gentleman was helpful and we had a nice fresh pizza.

The rooms are dated for the price its expensive plus car parking on top its not as up to standard as other IHG properties. Considering we chose this as we were going to book the Hilton next door. The most disappointing thing is there are no plug sockets on the bedside & mum is on a oxygen machine so she cannot sleep without her oxygen machine its literally a life & death situation so we had to risk the night her sleeping without it and we had to monitor her all night so the family could not rest either. Iv never stayed in a property that has no bedside plugs. In the standard room i booked the extractor fan was not working in bathroom so all the bathroom was full steam it was awful no ventilation. The bedside telephone was sticky and yellow and the windowsills were dirty. Again no plugs on our bedside either. For the price rooms are quite expensive but absolutely dated by the time you add breakfast & parking its quite steep. When we arrived at the hotel the receptionist was quite rude we understand you cant give early check in but she was not friendly & that was the first impressions, but the shift changed and the lady that checked us into the hotel was lovely & polite and made us feel welcome. The night shift security lady was excellent and friendly she helped us find parking in the evening after we came back late.

The room was grubby and felt tired and in need of a deep clean: stains on soft furnishings and carpet; surfaces dusty and not wiped clean; sticky tape repairs. No socket near the bed. And no safe for valuables. In a hotel with this name and at this price, none of these shortcomings are acceptable.

Overall very good with an excellent location near to everything you could need.

Location is excellent, staff very helpful. Parking was available at the rear(for an extra cost) Rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast was to a good standard.

Great hotel in a beautiful location

This is a lovely modern hotel in a beautiful location near to the shops and tourist attractions. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. In fact the whole facility is very well kept and clean. The breakfast is very good with everything you could want and the restaurant was clean and bright. A special mention to Jenna who was very helpful when told of my dietary requirements and remembered them when I had breakfast on subsequent days.

The road outside the hotel is mad and quite dangerous especially at night with the constant flow of traffic either trying to get to the hotel car park or parking up to use one of the many restaurants. There is barely anywhere to walk safely because of the cars and deliveroo bikes.

A beautiful location, a comfortable quiet room, friendly staff. This was our second stay, we really enjoyed our stay.

The rooms could have a little more personality and it would be good if parking could be included for guests but overall it’s excellent.

Excellent, just what we required for the job it was needed for

My friend was getting married at the registry office, this was a great location as it is literally a 5 minute walk. The staff went above and beyond with anything you asked of them. All really welcoming and lovely. Breakfast great and lots of different foods to eat, something for everyone.

Our room was a little on the cool side, we asked at reception and they bought us a plug in oil radiator. The problem was rectified in minutes.

Good location to visit Lincoln and Catherdral

Mattresses were very uncomfortable, could feel the springs, we were on 1st level with window facing the street, could hear people screaming and yelling on the street all night. Breakfast very average.

Check in, room, location, parking at the hotel all good. This is our 4th stay here always a good place for us when visiting Lincoln. We didn't have breakfast this stay, but have on the others, would recommend it.

There was a sound in our room ( 22 ) which was like air in pipes. It woke us up twice, because it sounded like an alarm!! This sound was loud in the room, but worse in the bathroom.

Room facing half a brick wall half a car park. Although I did ask if it was possible to have a room facing the bay front they said all these rooms were fully booked. This was far from the truth. Most were unoccupied.

Location is very convenient. Parking rates very reasonable

One female member at reception not friendly. She was very rude to.customers and has a very harsh voice tone. Her body language when talking to guests was very unprofessional. The rooms are lovely and spacious but there is no phone in rooms . The nearesr phone was along the corridor which is not ideal when you are in bed and in need to speak to reception.

Rooms dated & tired one bed fully broken huge dip in middle! Rooms soooooo basic also we walked into “our” room with 2 naked men in!!!! Poor guys receptionist didn’t seem too bothered we were mortified how can this happen on a Saturday afternoon at 5pm! Told they should have moved out! Given room next door which was worst than a travelodge

Great location hotel.

Lovely quiet hotel based on the brayford wharf front in Lincoln,5 mins to city centre shops and nightlife and 2mins to lots of restaurants . Exceptionally clean and spacious room with massive king-size bed.

I asked for an extra pillow and some more milk,and both times they said they would bring them upto the room but they never arrived.

Relaxing, but could improve on small cleanliness issues.

It was nice and welcoming, staff were polite. Room was warm and plenty of towels, tea, biscuits and coffee.

There were a couple of cleanliness issues. I found an old tea bag in the bin underneath a liner and a funny smell in the room, maybe from the tea bag. Mirrors were not all cleaned well and some dust on shelves I cleaned off. Wasn’t too bad in general, but could be improved upon.

We went to Lincoln on my birthday and stayed in holiday inn and I was impressed by all the staff and the hotel it’s self

Like staying in a prison cell

Location is unbeatable for a stat in Lincoln

Bedroom is the worst we have ever stayed in the tv had vertical lines from top to the bottom of the screen making it extremely hard to watch.The room 418 was like a prison cell with no natural light !! There was a very narrow window in the room but this was around a corner in the back of the room so couldn’t be seen so we basically felt as though we were in a room with 4 walls and no windows!!! We have stayed in this hotel numerous times and always enjoyed it but never again

The location.

Windows dripping with condensation. Must be a long term issue as the window frames, surrounding plaster was covered in black mould which is unhealthy to stay in. AC didn't work correctly. Carpets thin, dirty and stained. Bedding and towels also stained. Looked like something was either pulled off or removed badly from bathroom wall and not repaired. Hand print on bathroom wall by door frame. Overall the room needs and total remodel and refresh as the room is horrible. Management must know this room is not in anyway suitable to be booked out to customers but still did, The staircase between the bar and restaurant was dirty with crumbs and other materials. Must not have been vacuumed for ages and off putting while going to breakfast. 04/11/25 Apparently the black stuff around windows, on plaster is not mould the hotel management team say.....really? What is it then? How did anyone in the management team not notice any of my comments about this room before? None of the issues are recent ones. The problems are long running ones.
