We have stayed here a few times now and we absolutely love this place we always stay in the hot tub room it’s lovely . Staff very friendly , clean .

Modern, very clean and quite quirky.

All positive nothing to complain about.

Always consistent room cleanliness, etc. Can be a bit stuffy in the summer as no AC - fans available but generally ineffective.

Some rooms are a little dated and showers not great but better than many similarly priced options

Very convenient location at good price.

Good budget option with great TV in some rooms. Free wifi is pretty good.

Excellent facilities and great service and assistance upon arrival. A special thanks, particularly to Michaela @ reception. The restaurant food and service were also great apart from the House Red and Rose Wine (on Tap), which is really undrinkable.

Some noise levels with some guests a little loud whilst walking to their rooms at night. But not too much.

Bed was hard, with a summer quilt in December without an extra blanket as an option given in other establishments. There was a heater which just about warmed the room up. so not a great nights sleep

The manager, Michaela was excellent and a credit to the Hotel. Her customer service was superb.

Some rooms are better located for less noise.

I was greeted by a lady called Ulez who was very friendly and helpful I had to change rooms due to some extremely noisy neighbours I had an adjoining room so could hear every word they said I was helped with my bags nothing was too much trouble.

On arrival room was freezing-despite waiting an hour no change. The hotel provided an electric radiator

I liked the room it was very clean and spacious

You could have provided water bottles and it said you would provided toiletries the only ones were hand wash and shower gel no soap or shampoo or toothpaste

Me and my sister stayed in a twin room. It was beautifully clean. The beds were comfortable. There was everything we needed.

We have stayed a few times with you. We have always loved the food in the restaurant. The rooms have got better, we stayed downstairs as my mobility is rubbish at present.

Used bathroom during the night and due to glass panels in door the lights also lit up the bedroom and woke my wife. Bathroom fan very noisy

The water from the shower was very low pressure and took ages.

This was very conveniently located for a quick overnight stay en route to Hull. Bed was comfortable and large. High ceilings and shower were interesting. They'd set a baby cot up for us ready to go. We were in late and out early so it was perfect for us - not sure what breakfast would have been like.

Nothing I can think of. Could provide oat milk in the rooms with the coffee.

This was the worst night we have ever spent in a hotel. We had virtually no sleep due to an issue that the night staff were unable to resolve. We were unable to get a light in the room to turn off and eventually reported the issue, very politely, to the night manager. He investigated, and was also unable to get the light to switch off. I asked if we could change rooms as we were unable to sleep with the light on. He said we could not as the hotel was full. I asked if he could remove the bulb, but he said he was not able to. I asked if I could try to remove the bulb, he abruptly told me that he would charge me £300 if I did that. I therefore asked him what his solution was. After a long delay he returned and put a tea towel over the light which did not dim the light at all. I said that was not acceptable and he went away again. After another long delay, he returned and said that we could change rooms after all, so he had clearly lied previously when he had a chance to swiftly resolve the issue. We then moved to a room on a different floor and finally settled down. The whole incident took over two hours to resolve and totally ruined our night in the hotel. We would have had a better night's sleep in the car. On complaining to a different staff member in the morning we were told, very dismissively 'oh, I'm sorry about that', and after complaining via email to the customer service team we were told that they were unable to help as the issue was not their fault. There was no reference to the inept and rude staff that ruined our stay. If you stay here then please be warned that if there is an issue the staff will be very unsympathetic, rude, unable to help and completely unwilling to accept any responsibility.

Really nice modern room. Much better than expected at this price point and nicer than TravelLodge or Ibis for the money. We had the King room, well worth an extra few quid. Huge bed!
