Beautiful hotel with friendly , helpful staff , will defo be back

I’ve been staying here for a few years now but when it was ibis , but when I booked this year it had changed name etc. wow we arrived Thursday evening and I have to say it was beautiful , rooms have been updated and are very nice , slept amazing , staff were very helpful , will defo be back again

The staff were very good, very helpful and welcoming the cleanliness of the hotel was excellent.

Stayed in room 3, The doors in the hotel are very loud when they close, they need to have something fitted to slow them down when they close, kept us awake when anyone opened a door, had to move rooms which was fine staff were great with this, the 2nd room had no TV signal was very disappointed as this is one of the things we like to have when travelling. Hopefully this will be rectified.

Would not be staying again due to not being able to get any sleep.

The Hotel room was clean and the bedding and towels also clean. All the facilities which we needed were available.

The room was so noisy we could not sleep. There were load voices and music inside the Hotel. In the end we got up at 03.30 am and checked out.

Very large, comfortable bed. Lovely fresh linen. Great breakfast. Good location out of town but near enough to go in when we wanted to. Very accommodating staff. Nothing was too much trouble.

For the price, the hotel was adequate for the purpose of our stay.

The location was ideal for our visit and the bed was comfortable.

Nearby traffic was very noisy and there were cars racing in the car park. Some people staying in the hotel were not considerate in voice volume when going to their rooms at 2.45am.

Free parking, good selection for breakfast

One pillow per person. One towel per person. One tea bag per person. Room spartan, absolutely no frills - not even rubbish bin in bedroom. Not value for money. Bar badly stocked. Cafe talked about in advertising non existent. Banging of doors late at night as revellers returned.

Exactly what I expected. Was clean just old and broken. Hair dryer a massive bonus and the shower was really nice. Bed a bit hard but pillows where lush. Brekky was great and had Adams Family on and then Adams Family 2 the next day!!! Staff where all super nice and chatty.

both bedside lights fell off the wall which was funny at the time but kinda grim. Every door shut with the force of 1000 suns, literally every door, idk why there is no sound dampening or softer door pulls? Somebody got stuck in their bathroom cause their door got stuck and the firemen had to break it down at like 11pm, my bathroom door didn't even close.

Few issues with shower spoilt overall impression (screw loose in shower rail so head would not stay up and shower did not drain properly so slowly filled up.

Sad and smelly

We liked the staff ....they were very helpful and pleasant towards us ...but they couldn't really be expected to sort out things like decor and plumbing ...

We didn't think it was right to be in a room with a bathroom that emaciated raw sweage smells from the drains in the bathroom for £133 for two nights .....and on booking ......it was advertised as 0.7 miles from the center of licoln ...only after booking did we realise it was 3 miles away ...so that ended up being very expensive traveling .......also the room was dusty and run down .....and very cold at night .
