Domitys Is Great

Our second stay at a Domitys seniors complex. Lovely spacious apartment including large bathroom. Nice comfortable bed. We had the swimming pool and sauna to ourselves. We will definitely use Domitys again in France.

The roller blinds were closed and the button to open them didn't work, therefore no daylight or views which was a shame. We were supplied with a glass bottle of water but no bottle opener. I had to open it carefully using a knife. Otherwise everything was great.

Lovely apartment for an overnight stay

The breakfast was very good, especially as we had it delivered to our room so we didn’t have to leave our dog unattended. The apartment was very spacious.

The location was rather out of the way. We didn’t realise we had to drive so far from Rouen, then all the way back again in the morning to continue our journey down south. The only thing that spoilt the property was that there was mould around the shower, and the toilet could have done with some bleach.

Another amazing stay.

Easy to find. Perfect for stay with the dogs. Perfect overnight stay, just over 2 hours from Calais. Gated complex so car safe overnight. And on this trip found the bakery from heaven a 4 min walk away. Perfect.

Lovely check in, the receptionist was very helpful. Accommodation was perfect for our needs. Very clean, spacious and well equipped.

We did not eat the breakfast, but made our own, as the apartment has a fine kitchen. We liked the balcony, to have our meals on. We liked the nice beds and the spacious, nice apartment. We liked the swimming pool! Very good place to stay.

The noise of the air system is way too loud, inside as well as outside the buiding. Makes it hard to sleep.

Room on the outskirts of the centre, it was a nice walk over the river to the main centre. The staff did try to communicate in English, and together we worked it out. Breakfast reasonably priced at 10 Euro's

We were surprised to find that the accommodation is a care home for elderly residents. Not really a problem as they were all polite

Great accommodation at a very reasonable price.

We booked this as a stop over on our way through France. Wonderful accommodation, clean , bright and comfortable. We booked the accessible apartment as my husband is in a wheelchair. It was very spacious, the bedroom was a good size with adequate room to use a portable hoist for transfer. Really lovely swimming pool with a jacuzzi at one end. Would definitely book here again.

Wow it was so ideal I’d like to live there! The swimming pool was excellent as it’s been so hot. Jacuzzi end in the pool and a sauna. Bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get out.

Truly excellent value for money.

We didn't have breakfast as we provided our own. Otherwise it met and in some areas exceeded our expectations. Should it be a future need we would not hesitate to try and book again.

My elderly father in law suggested that he would have welcomed the use of a shower chair to assist him during and after a shower.

Lovely spacious, accessible for wheelchair, very clean, friendly staff, great little swimming pool and sauna, lovely little flat equipped with the essentials in the kitchen for basic self catering and even fluffy bathrobes!

The toilet was in a separate room from the shower and there was no sink by the toilette, so someone with mobility issues would have to navigate two doors to get to wash their hands.

Diner not available after 7.30 (order to be placed before 6.30). Room without airco and it was not possible to open the windows to cool down the room because of the mosquitoes (we killed at least 10 of them): bring anti mosquito spray with you.

Brilliant!

Both my daughter and I thought the whole concept was excellent, Obviously designed to accommodate seniors for holidays and longer stays, but the facilities for everyone were amazing. We didn't have time to eat the simple table d'hote menu for dinner or the breakfast, but we certainly did appreciate the indoor swimming pool, the safe parking, and the sheer size of the absolutely up-to-date apartment and its balcony.

We couldn't work out how to lower the temperature in the room on a very warm night, despite the excellent welcome pack and detailed notices. We could have asked, but the reception was closed at 20h00 and so we opened all the windows instead! Apart from that, we couldn't find anything to complain about

Brilliant place to stay, great with lovely staff sadly there’s always some-one full of there self importance to let the

Immaculately maintained recently completed apartments. Residents and staff were most welcoming and apartment was way beyond expectations!

Only issue was that we were told to leave the swimming pool by an external instructor ( aquagym) who was at odds with the fantastic welcome we had from everyone else we met there. The 6 residents were happy for us to stay but he rudely told us to leave. A shame as he let the experience down badly.

We had to leave due to fireworks.

We couldn’t stay at the property as there was fireworks happening throughout the week and our dog can’t stand them. We had to find somewhere else to stay.

The property itself was fine although we did feel uncomfortable coming into an old people’s home. There were a lot of vulnerable people and we felt uncomfortable incase we gave them germs. (We were both fit and healthy, it just felt slightly uncomfortable) I contacted the team to let them know we wouldn’t be staying due to the fireworks and our dog.
