Nice but impractical room; night staff unwelcoming, day staff helpful

It’s clean, and the room’s design looks nice, but from a practical point of view I still find it illogical.

The room’s design and facilities are poorly thought out. The wardrobe is extremely small, the pillows are too thin, and the bedside table is awkwardly positioned, requiring you to twist your arm to reach it. The bed legs also appear to be close to breaking. In addition, the night staff were not very welcoming and behaved in an unnecessarily patronizing manner. The day staff, however, were very welcoming and helpful.

Great hotel slightly out the centre but a easy walk around 20mins but buses available

Easy check in let us have our room earlier , easy parking underneath recommend getting there a little earlier not many spaces 11 euros . Breakfast was lovely and fresh would definitely stay again

Loved Rouen, beautiful city to wander around and spend the weekend there. Would highly recommend.

The facilities were very nice and staff very friendly.

We had booked a twin room, however was not allocated a twin room. I was travelling with a friend. They provided us a double bed with a sofa bed. This was not clear on the website that a twin room might not be provided. The hotel says central location, however it is a good 25 minute walk to the city centre. it was a a very easy walk but not close enough to go back and come back out easily.

Exceptional

Good location if your are visiting Rouen by car. We were touring through Normandy and needed a good hotel near the center but not so close that overnight parking was a hassle. The Holiday Inn Express fit the bill nicely. Breakfast was good, it's an easy drive to the center of town. Recommended.

The hotel is brand new. The rooms are very nice. The staff are extremely helpful, they were very kind to my 2 little girls and gave them a little duck to play with. The breakfast is good too.

Location - 700m from Maison d'arrêt de Rouen (prison), it doesn’t feel safe in the area. For nice restaurants you’d need to go to central square

The rooms are relatively small, we had no chance to open the windows.
