I stayed at Holiday Inn Express for one night on 14th February. The staff was very polite, friendly, and extremely helpful. The service was excellent, and I was especially impressed with the breakfast — it was very good with nice variety and quality. I was a little disappointed because there were some hairs in the bathroom, which affected the cleanliness slightly. However, overall it was a good experience, and I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel parking is under the hotel, but about 500 metres away from the main entrance. The reception was really helpful and gave us a laminated map. The rooms were spacious enough and it wasn't noisy. Comfortable bed with hot drink making facilities. Very dog friendly.

I don’t often leave review, but the stay was brilliant, very clean, fantastic secure parking, I was on a motorcycle. Also turn right out of hotel, and the main old town is only a 20 minute walk, got the metro in, but walked back it was one straight road, down past the old Victorian prison, nice walk over the bridge. Great breakfast to, scrambled eggs lovely change from two weeks of croissants
