Hôtel Littéraire Gustave Flaubert, BW Signature Collection

Centrally located with easy transport out of the city. Firm mattress and good pillows. Shower was very good!

To park the car there it’s a bit confusing as you have to drive through a pedestrian zone but once it’s in the garage it’s very simple. We had the king room with a balcony - whilst this was nice to was a shame the balcony just looked into the courtyard which is kind of a car park

Breakfast was great. Location to the Rouen Old Centre was ideal.

Charming hotel with helpful and warm staff. Very clean. Our room was comfortable, albeit smallish, and had a lovely wraparound balcony overlooking the courtyard. Breakfast, although quite expensive (€27), was exceptional. Excellent location too.

Onsite parking was provided and free. However, it featured a car elevator that to someone like my husband and I who are claustrophobic, was a nightmare. In fact, our departure was delayed by about 1.5 hours because it broke and we couldn’t get our car out.

The location

Although we had trouble with the hotel’s account at booking being hacked and my name, telephone number, the dates I wasnhome and the hotel I was visiting bring leaked ( someone whatsapped me ) - the hotel did not actively mention it. We do not know if creditcard info was leaked. We will report the incident now to the Dutch authorities. Our room was not clean. There were dirty marks on the bathroom door. No water in the room - water was kept in the receptionist at the lobby you had to get it from there. Breakfast was not up to standard, no extra plates. Coffee was awful. Very little variation. Food (scrambled eggs, vegetables) were supposed to be on hot olates - food was lukewarm warm.
