This is a very pleasant hotel just a minute or so off the Place du Vieux Marche.

The lift to the hotel car park was (apparently) not working so we had to park in a public car park (with which the hotel has an arrangement so the parking fee was reduced a bit) a few hundred metres away. Although we were able to drop off our bags at the hotel on arrival not having our car on site was an inconvenience, especially when we left early on our last day.

The selection of cereals yogurts and pastries were excellent and the variety of cold cuts and cheeses were great. The coffee was very good too

It was quite hot and although water was supplied when requested it quickly reached room temperature

The location

Although we had trouble with the hotel’s account at booking being hacked and my name, telephone number, the dates I wasnhome and the hotel I was visiting bring leaked ( someone whatsapped me ) - the hotel did not actively mention it. We do not know if creditcard info was leaked. We will report the incident now to the Dutch authorities. Our room was not clean. There were dirty marks on the bathroom door. No water in the room - water was kept in the receptionist at the lobby you had to get it from there. Breakfast was not up to standard, no extra plates. Coffee was awful. Very little variation. Food (scrambled eggs, vegetables) were supposed to be on hot olates - food was lukewarm warm.
