A perfect B&B, a real find.

It was exactly as described a luxury B&B with exceptional attention to detail. A perfect setting in a perfect location, even on a wet November day. Every area of the hotel was clean immaculately presented. Breakfast superb, and pre stay information sent on places to eat, made the stay completely enjoyable. Staff friendly, welcoming, and knowledgable.

There is nothing to dislike about this property for us it was that we were not staying longer than one night.

Gem of a place!

Bossington Hall is a real treat and tucked away in a beautiful location. The facilities are great, the breakfast is excellent and the service brilliant. Overall value for money is excellent. We would love to visit again and absolutely recommend to all. It's a real gem of a place!

If being really picky. Our bath tub was a very snug fit, so not ideal for all guests.

Bossington Hall is a magnificent place to stay. It sits in the most stunning English countryside.. The host, Guy, is very welcoming and accommodating. He works very hard to make sure every guest has the best possible experience. Every details has been thought of. Highly recommended.

Perfect weekend away, in a beautiful location

Had a great short stay at Bossington Hall, the local walks were awesome. Watching the sunset, with dolphins rolling below was a highlight. Porlock and Porlock Weir nearby has great places to eat and sit by the sea and not too touristy. The B&B itself was great, in a beautiful location, with great views of Exmoor and the sea. The room was clean and tidy, bed was comfy and the bath in the room was an added bonus.

Bossington Hall is extremely relaxing and very comfortable; it felt like home from home. If only it was! 😁 The breakfasts were very good and the staff/owners were very helpful but unobtrusive.

Fabulous views, great location close to Bossington beach and coastal paths. The breakfast was lovely and left nothing to be desired. The optional sauna was a welcome bonus.

Excellent location-walks straight from the accommodation and magnificent views. Very relaxed atmosphere

Slight issue with the booking through Booking.com as we specified a dog friendly room on the booking but the room we were allocated through Booking.com transpired to be a non dog room. Luckily we were able to sort out through the accommodation direct and pay the difference. I believe it is an issue with Booking.com's system where a location has some dog friendly and some non dog friendly rooms.

The whole set up, from the views which were amazing. the luxury of the rooms right down the the breakfast which was excellant. We also liked the idea of drinks and nibbles by way of the honesty book which worked well for us.

An excellent B&B with warm and friendly staff in a stunningly beautiful location. A brilliant place to stay for a walking or cycling holiday, or just a stroll to the local beach. It's also a great place to relax with a terrace overlooking some of the best views in the area. Breakfast was superb. I would strongly recommend Bossington Hall.

Relaxed and recharged

A wonderful spur of the moment booking while driving through Devon. We were blown away such a dramatic view of the house as you come up the drive. Very comfortable room and amenities. Breakfast was delicious. We spent a couple of hours on the front patio with a coffee just admiring the beautiful view. A truly wonderful stay.

Location sublime though a bit far to walk to Porlock in rain for supper. Taxi companies used succesfully though! Breakfast was superb and all the little touches in this high end and interesting property were great. Owner Guy and Anna? went out of their way to explain everything and help make for a very welcome stay. Thank you. Views from bedroom and dining Hall outstanding.....very relaxing.

Beautiful location . All the rooms were elegantly tasteful with many character features . Charming and very welcoming owner and attentive staff. Terrific breakfast . Couldn’t have asked for more…. Except to have been able to stay a little longer.

Exceptional service in exceptional accommodation

Pretty much everything was wonderful. The property is magnificent and maintained to a very high standard. The rooms are splendid and beautifully appointed. Opulent and welcoming. The lounge had breathtaking views down the valley towards Selworthy. The grounds around the Hall provide magnificent views of thew surrounding areas in many directions and also provide lovely walking. We both had a spa treatment whilst staying and both were wonderful. Very relaxing, and done by a very pleasant therapist. Highly recommended! The honesty system also warrants a mention. An honesty bar and evening cheese and biscuits was a lovely touch. And prices were all reasonable. Sat outside on the terrace on the warm Saturday evening with a G&T and cheese board was one of the highlights of our stay.

Only a very minor quibble, and nothing that spoiled our stay, really. The poached egg for my wife's breakfast wasn't runny, and the beans in my full english were barely warm. Apart from these too minor points, the rest of the breakfast was actually superb, and delicious, and hot. And incredibly generous, with lots of cereal, fruit, and french pastry options. May just have been a slight wobble on the day. It certainly wouldn't stop us from staying again, and we shall. Probably with friends as we've been praising the Hall to all of them.

Stunning views from a charming manor house

A gem of a place to stay - a charming 19th-century manor house that really feels like home. The owner is warm, friendly, and passionate about creating great experiences. Our room was large and very comfortable, with stunning views and a really good bed. The views down to the coast are stunning, and the grounds are well worth wandering around and exploring. They provided one of the best breakfasts we had on our trip - as vegetarians we were very well catered for. Minehead is about 12 minutes drive away, Porlock a fraction more. Dunster village and castle are less than 15 mins drive away. There's an EV charger on site, which served us very well (but is quite slow - best to plug in overnight)

Our bathroom was private, but wasn't en suite - we had to dash across the hall. Not remotely a problem, since there was no one around, and the bathroom itself was spacious and perfectly nice. I would love it if they could offer evening meals, but Minehead and Porlock are nearby, and there are some snacks (cheese, biscuits, olives) available

Excellent accommodation.

The location was scary in that there is only one lane traffic (and we met a removal van!) However it was stunning scenery, beautiful location and magnificent views of the sea/coast one way with the countryside the other way. It was very peaceful, quiet and private. Sadly it was too cold to spend much time outside, but the views were as good from our room. We had to cross the corridor to the bathroom, but it was a lovely bath we enjoyed and saw no one going to and fro. The breakfast was absolutely superb.

The only suggestion is I think they could let one have a bottle of tonic water and one snack in with the price (not cheap, but the ones provided in the room did not work for me.) Also we tried to get a nice hot drink early the next morning, but their machine was not switched on and even then we would not know how to work it. Otherwise stellar!

First Class in every way

Everything was “Quality” with a capital “Q”. The Hosts were friendly and very accommodating to every request. All of the staff were very pleasant. Everything done professionally. We would not hesitate to recommend this fine establishment.
