Valentine's weekend birthday breakaway.
Practically everything! We had a very pleasant stay. All the staff were helpful, accommodating and friendly. We thought the dinner and breakfast were excellent value, very tasty.and nicely presented. At dinner a few more vegetables would have been nice but that's just personal preference. But compliments to the chef on duty! We were very happy to be upgraded with a sea view as it was my daughter's birthday the day before and we were unable to celebrate because of a wedding. All in all, we had a lovely mini break and would gladly recommend it to others and maybe return another time.
Very little. The only thing I found was the furniture in the bedroom was a little too low for my comfort and the bed not quite firm enough but that's probably because I'm noticing these things now with age. The heated pool could have been a little bit warmer but again that's my personal preference. I did not go into the pool but sat in the sauna and unfortunately I reacted to something possibly in the steam spray. (I suddenly had a very itchy rash that night and the following day but recovered well with a couple of showers. No harm done there.

Family friendly, welcoming, home from home.
Tracey and Tracy could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Very accomodating to every need and welcoming to my young family. Thank you.
The property is tired and could do with a rennovation to bring it up to higher spec as the rooms are very spacious, location is great, staff are exception and food very good.

Disappointed for the money we paid it was not acceptable

The amount of dust around seemed like the place hasn’t been cleaned properly for a while! The place needs a good deep clean. I suffer from asthma and I have come Away from the property with a nasty cough. No heating on the first night. The breakfast was unacceptable. 2 bits of undercooked bacon, 1 burnt sausage, no fried toast no mushrooms, no beans.

Room was very dated, the bed in particular was not clean and tidy round the base Some equipment in the bathroom was missing or broken Very small shower with no pressure Hairdryer not available Evening meal choice was very limited The hotel is beautiful but we feel is in need of some updates

Relaxing stay in a lovely characterful building
Beautiful building set in lovely surroundings and within easy walking access to the town centre. The gardens were nice to walk around in and it was an added bonus to have an indoor swimming pool. Our room also had a wonderful sea view…
