Waverley B & B

Breakfast was very nice expect Bacon was a little over cooked. Location is very close to the beach and free parking right outside the property.

A small fridge in the room during the summer months would of been very useful.

I chose a 2 single bed on my booking, the room was beautiful great view and lovely bathroom. I wish I had booked a double as the bed was just to small for me definitely benefit from a bigger bed (realise this was my choice however) so no reflection on the hosts or B&B at all.

Breakfast was excellent. Owner was super friendly and helpful. Property was clean and brilliantly located.

Minor dislike was that there was no bedside table or light on one side of the bed.

Good location. Easy nearby parking. Immaculate, spacious room and bathroom. Very welcoming hosts.

Rather limited breakfast time (8-9). I would have liked slightly earlier and possibly others would like a bit later. 7:30 - 9:30 possibly? But breakfast was very good. Also, rather early checkout time (10). Again, fine for me, but maybe not everyone?

Lovely clean, newly-decorated, big room with large bay windows. Great breakfast. The hosts were very friendly. The B&B was very conveniently located, only a 5 min walk away from the main street with restaurants, etc. Yet not so close that it wasn't easy to park for free on the street nearby. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Minehead or the area.

Breakfast was quality full English . I had room 16 which had views of the hills , which was a suprise . Friendly and helpful people. Beautiful room . Would definitely stay there again .

Friendly, welcoming hosts. I booked a single room at short notice but the next day realised I hadn't checked for how many flights of stairs I would have to climb. I am elderly and find stairs difficult. I emailed a query regarding this and very quickly received a reply saying there were 3 flights of stairs to my room and no lift but they did have a double room on the first floor available and have upgraded me, at no further charge, to this room. I had travelled to Minehead on family business and upon arrival , late in the evening, I received a very warm welcome. I had been met by a friend who drove me to the b & b and she offered to fetch me fish and chips. Di, the hostess, opened up the dining room so that I could eat in comfort. Throughout my short, but pleasant stay, I was treated with friendliness and respect. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts, Steve and Di, and the staff. I had a comfortable, though brief, stay, with Steve keeping up a steady supply of lattes and the breakfasts were great and plentiful, with what must be the best scrambled eggs in Minehead. I would highly recommend this fabulous b&b, and look forward to an opportunity to return.

Honestly? I can't think of a single negative regarding my stay, I only wish I could have stayed longer.

It was impeccable overall. The room was spateous with a spatious bathroom, everything was extremely clean and in good shape and i love the decoration of the room : english style but distinguished and tastefull. It was quit and good beds. The breakfast was freshly prepared and tastefull. But most of all the hosts were very nice and friendly people. You got a home feeling ( and no i do not know the hosts nor did i get paid for a good review😊 ). It simply was a pleasure to stay there.

New owners had big boots to fill when they took over from the previous owners, and have managed to do it seamlessly. Very approachable and friendly owners, had some lovely late evening conversations with a glass of wine, with them which was very nice. Fantastic breakfast and lovely clean rooms as before.

Nothing that needs to be mentioned here. Any little niggles were immediately addressed. Very Professional, but with a homely touch.

Very clean and tidy. A warm welcome form the hosts and the bedroom was spacious, clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast - very well cooked and portions were generous. The town centre is just a 5 minute walk away. The hosts were very friendly and my stay was only for one night but I would not hesitate to return.

Everything was first rate - the family owner's were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were nicely cooked to order each day and well presented. I look forward to staying there again.

Sadly the weather was against me the week of my stay but Tourist Information just round the corner and the Coast Hopper bus with stops nearby provided plenty of opportunity to explore. Didn't have time for the steam railway trip so maybe next time.....

A very good breakfast freshly cooken and wide range of cereals. Central position for town and beach. Very friendly and welcoming family business.

Room was a little small.

It’s our 3rd visit to Minehead, we love coming here and next time it will be the Waverley guest house. Great little town, everything here for your needs.
