Jane and James were very welcoming when we arrived and very kind throughout our stay. The breakfasts were excellent. The location is good being a short walk from the castle and the village with shops and restaurants. The property itself has lots of character. James was helpful with advice when he knew we were going on the steam train for the day. We appreciated the little extras in the bathroom and the extra supplies for hot drinks were just outside our rooms including a fridge to keep fresh milk cold. Drinking water was also available from the fridge. Everywhere was very clean.

Having had bad experiences in the past with B & Bs the Exmoor House was very good.

Lovely room with so many extra touches not found in chain hotels. Jane and James were lovely hosts and had great pride in their lovely hotel. Plus they produced the best breakfast I've had in years. If we are ever in this area again we will definitely return.
Nothing ! Everything was wonderful.
