The staff on arrival were excellent - very hospitable and well organised. The food was outstanding. Fab history to the building and the location was perfect - so easy to find and accessible to the coastal path.
Breakfast waitress did not have the same hospitable flair as was demonstrated the previous night by other staff.

A classic English Inn in a beautiful country location. The staff were friendly and the pub/dining area atmosphere was great. Our rooms were lovely, clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a restful nights sleep. Dinner and breakfast was spot on, tasted great, good portions and presented well. Overall very happy.

The property was easy to find and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Our room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. To say this is a dog friendly stay is an understatement, the attention to detail was superb. Our room even had a collie cushion in it, and our dog is a collie! She was given a pack containing a dog blanket, dog bowl, a tennis ball, poo bags, a bag of treats and a food mat.
Our dinner was delicious as was the breakfast. The staff were extremely friendly too. We would 100% recommend and will be returning.
