Wonderful hotel to use if you are going to Salzburg.

5 minutes walk to the train station. The bus is across the street which takes you everywhere. The breakfast is only 10 euro compared to other places in Austria. Everyone there is nice and helpful.

Villa Flöckner - All-Around Great Choice

Friendly and helpful staff, superb location - very close to the train station, very good breakfast.

The car park was gravel, which made it difficult to pull suitcases across it. The gravel could potentially damage the suitcase wheels. This is a minor thing for us as we are both able-bodied and could pick up our suitcases and carry them. However, if you are mobility-challenged, it might pose difficulties.

A true gem in Salzburg! 💎 Don't waste your time looking at other accommodations.

This was the best stay of my five city trip. It's a great family owned business that clearly care about their properties/guests. I even showed up at the wrong bnb, and the two brothers coordinated to drive me to the correct one. This was very much appreciated after a long day of travel and many heavy luggage bags!! The location is right next to the bus stop, and just a few minutes from the main train station. I'm a solo female traveler and felt safe the entire time, even when coming in late at night. The buildings are very well lit and secured. I can't even explain how amazing the breakfast spread was. Everything was so fresh, and a kind person was always checking in. This was also the cleanest place I've stayed this entire trip. Can't say enough good things.

Very functional hotel for a night or two in Salzburg 20 -30 min walk to old town or one easy bus ride.

The location is convenient to the train station but not a particularly beautiful area. The room looked onto roads and carpark. But anything with a view in Salzburg is crazy expensive.

We had a family room, which had a separate room with 2 single beds for our adult sons. Which worked well. Very clean lovely B & B. Great breakfast included in price. Beautiful walk along river to old town. Owner is lovely, Highly recommend

Fantastic hotel in great location.

Beautiful room with a very comfortable bed and modern en-suite bathroom. Although the window was facing the main road, we couldn't hear the traffic. The breakfast was fantastic. Great choice of food as well as a variety of hot and cold drinks. The hotel owner and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great too as the bus stop for the city centre is directly opposite.

Nice hotel, comfortable clean rooms, and friendly staff. The city center is about a 20 minute walk away along the river. Very pretty. But if you choose not to walk, they provide you with a free bus pass. Definitely recommend this place.

A warm and cosy accomodation in Salzburg.

The first thing I look for in a hotel room is cleanness. Our room at Villa Flöckner was spotless clean; bath, toilet etc. Towels are new and soft, bath is modern and comfortable. Self check-in was good, we arrived in hotel at night and easily checked-in. Villa Flöckner is in a walking distance to the Alstadt, very close to the central station and beside these there is a bus stop just across the hotel which made the transport to the city center very easy and quick for us. Breakfast was also good and satisfying. Herr Flöckner was very kind and everyday he asked us if anything was OK. I would definitely recommend Villa Flöckner to those who want to go Salzburg and look for a nice place to stay.

Actually this is not a complaint or dislike, but we wanted to mention; the bathroom faucet is placed too high above the sink and even if you don't turn the water on too much and you are very careful, you cannot prevent the water from splashing around.

Excellent, cozy and friendly

A very cozy small hotel. The location is convenient, about an 8-minute walk from the train station. The rooms are immaculately clean and tidy, with bright lighting in a style I really liked. The breakfast was excellent. We were fortunate to receive a room upgrade, which gave us access to a terrace offering fantastic views of Salzburg Castle.

However, the cobblestone path at the hotel entrance made moving luggage slightly inconvenient.

Comfy beds, great breakfast, excellent host communication, and helpful local tips from Cosima!

We traveled with our adult children and had a wonderful stay. Communication with our host was excellent throughout. The beds were very comfortable, and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely, and Cosima kindly shared great recommendations on places to eat and things to do. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we visit Salzburg!

Only small gripe was toilet was separate from bathroom. Would have preferred toilet facilities to be in the same room as the bathroom or at least have a sink in same room as the toilet.

Nice place, conveniently located. Good staff.

The location is great as described, quite close to the city centre. The staff was very courteous and friendly. Definitely would recommend this place. The only downside for us was the construction at the neighbouring property which was quite noisy and disturbed us a bit but overall it was a good experience.

Construction work in the adjoining property and the gravel driveway which makes it difficult to roll your luggage.

Exceptional stay in Salzburg!

We liked everything about Villa Flöckner! The location was terrific, near the train station and across the street from the bus that went everywhere in Salzburg. The facility itself was sparkling, clean and comfortable, the breakfasts were great, and the owner/manager was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Over all, it was the best accommodation on our two week vacation!

Whilst my room was very small (happens when you're traveling solo), it was very well planned out and set up, making it cosy and comfortable. Great location too. Easy to get to the train station as well as the river to walk along to all the beautiful spots of Salzburg. Good breakfast included too.

Maybe a little noisy being on the ground floor near the carpark but that's about it.

One of the cleanest and most well maintained hotels, I have ever stayed in.

The room we had was a large duplex with a balcony and a fantastic view. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped & decorated.The breakfast area was equally clean and well decorated and the food was all fresh and immaculately displayed. All in all great value for money and I would highly recommend. Salzburg is an amazing city to visit.

The only small negative was that it was a little further out from the city than we would have preferred - around a 20 min walk to the main bars and restaurants. Although, it is very near to the railway station and Forum 1 shopping centre, which has a McDonald's, Burger King & Starbucks

Very nice hotel in walking distance from city center

Breakfast was one of the best from the multiple hotels on our road trip. Room was a good size. Room was looking as new. We walked to city center by the river and few times used local busses.

Great location with wonderful staff

This hotel has a good location. You can walk to the old town following the river and it takes about 15-20 minutes. It is only a few hundred yards away from Salzburg’s central train/bus station. Breakfast was great and the man serving was the friendliest person you will likely meet. It is staff like him that can really add to the experience of your stay.

The room we had was a little small but in fairness we picked this hotel because the prices were very reasonable for Salzburg so I’m sure this is reflected in the price.
