Good, but not good enough

I love the location just right Infront of the main station of Salsburg, best thing, the hotel providing unlimited tram and bus pass for free that can be use in any bus or tram. Very convenient to go to Old Town.

No FOC water provided in the room, though you can get your own drinking water at the lobby if you have water container to refill, also the fridge is not properly clean as there is left over cake.

Overall, it was good.

I like that the room is of a decent size and it’s close to the train station.

There is nothing I dislike about the hotel especially when it’s in a good location. But one of the staff I saw - she wasn’t rude but she was unfriendly. I parked my suitcases at checkout and store with them for a bit while I explore the city before my next flight and saw that she was kicking the suitcases of the hotel guests which were parked there. So not sure about her being attitude or she was unhappy about something at that moment. It wasn’t targeted at me but thought it was not very nice for others to witness that.

Great place to stay except for our experience with the guy at the reception when we were checking out.

It’s clean and close to the attractions and food. We checked in on the afternoon of Nov 22nd and lady at the reception was friendly and very helpful.

The morning of Nov 23rd when we were checking out, the guy at the front was not friendly and helpful at all when I was asking for directions. One answer per question and sometimes you have to ask twice before he answers.

Amazing room, great location with great travel links.

Amazing room size - perfect for us as a family with one small child - location was great, a 10 min walk from the city centre, right next to the train station and bus station!

The noise coming from the rea outside the station was a little loud, but as a family used to it it's not the worst thing, but one to be aware of.

Comfortable Stay with Amazing Fortress View & Convenient Location

+Right outside the train station, you can immediately see the tallest and most eye-catching building – it looks very upscale. +The room has a great view, including the Hohensalzburg Fortress. +Hot water in the shower is fast, and the room has air conditioning. +Complimentary snacks, coffee, and tea are provided. +The room has a fridge and bedside power outlets, and WiFi speed is decent. +There’s a lobby on the ground floor for resting, and you can use the second-floor bathroom even after check-out. +Luggage storage is convenient, with dedicated hooks for hanging items. +Guest Mobility Ticket is available (you need to ask the hotel). It allows free public transport in the city, and for Bad Ischl, just show it to the driver when boarding. +The supermarket near the train station has long opening hours and is very convenient.

- The bathroom trash bin hadn’t been emptied, so there was some leftover garbage from the previous guest. - Check-in was tricky because the main entrance is hard to find. -The room is a bit dark. -The hot water kettle is small and only barely sufficient. -Café Sacher Salzburg – the Sachertorte is quite ordinary; it’s really just for “pilgrimage” purposes. -Confiserie Fürst – €2.10 per piece, but honestly disappointing: overly sweet, cloying, and nothing special.

Good choice for a stay that's right beside Salzburg's main train and station

1. Located right next door to Salzburg main station for trains and bus, effortless to reach after a long trip. 2. Good room layout, allowed for plenty of space for myself as a single guest. 3. Plenty of choices for food in the vicinity of the hotel, in addition to the hotel's bar/cafe staying open until 10PM. 4. Overnight stay comes with a public transport pass, which I understand is courtesy of Salzburg municipality provided with city tax.

1. Refreshments provided in the room but will be charged for consumption. Perhaps common with other similar hotels, but complementary coffee or tea would be great for the mornings.

Room was clean and spacious, opposite main railway station.

Window drapes fitted well but left too much light through. Towels were thin. Bed mattress was thin and hard. Pillows were too soft.

A good base for visiting a beautiful city, next to a public transport hub.

Great location for those arriving in Salzburg by train or plane - right next to the Hauptbahnhof and its associated bus station, which offer seamless access to everything of note in the city. Good breakfasts on the 15th floor, offering a superb view of the castle with the Alps behind it. Friendly and helpful staff.

Just one minor annoyance - the air conditioning in the room had a habit of resetting itself every time I went out.
