All you need

A great hotel about 10 min walk from station and 25 min walk into the centre of Salzburg. The lobby is dark and atmospheric - a nice place for a drink before bed. The room itself is basic and the one we stayed in was very small. It was very very clean and the shower was great. We have stayed a number of times as it’s convenient to the station and the walk into town is pleasant and not strenuous.

No complaints. It’s good value for money given how pricey Salzburg can get in December.

What a night view!

Location - right on the water, providing a relaxing and breathtaking view of the city at night; the train station was close but a little bit of a walk; the shopping, dining and main touristy areas are a decent walk but can be done at a leisurely pace enjoying the beautiful scenery all around. There is a place right across the street that will wash, dry, and fold clothes for a very reasonable price.

Lovely!

I was so lucky to get a room with view which was incredible. Breakfast was not included, I bought and it was not so good. Recommend to find a restaurant outside the hotel. Service was great and the staff was and helpful. Very clean.

As often happens in bad hotels, there was no kettle, bathrobes, and no parking was offered. How and where to park a car were looking for themselves. The waiter at breakfast came up and said that we close at 10 am - finish it .. Although she didn’t approach the other guests and they calmly sat on.

Pleasant with a central location

The room was very clean and quiet. The view from the room was very nice. The location was really why we chose this hotel as it was central to the Christmas Markets and everywhere we wanted to go. The heating/air con in the room worked great also and while you couldn't make tea in the room you could bring some up from the bar downstairs.

We arrived early so I asked if we could check in early. We were taken through the entire check in process, we paid, the card keys were scanned, receipt given, forms signed, etc. And we were then told to come back at the check in time. I don't mind that an early check in wasn't possible. It was a long shot and we actually had a nice time exploring instead, but it would have been nice to be told that before going through the entire check in process and having to queue again later for our keys anyways. We also weren't given any information at check in regarding the bar/restaurant at the hotel or any of the usual information you would expect to receive at check in such as where our room and the elevator were located. It wasn't anything bad per se, I'm really just noting that communication could have been a little better. In general though the staff were nice, especially the male staff member behind the desk/bar.

Friendly staff, convenient location, loved the trendiness and ambience of the hotel.

Just on the outskirts of the beautiful old town of Salzburg, situated on the lake. The room was very comfortable and modern, as was the hotel. The breakfast was amble, and a safe location for the car to be parked.

I would have thought the breakfast and car parking could have been included in the price.
