The best choice at a reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again.

Cosy and testeful. Within walking distance to the Mirabell Gradens and the old town, also public transport available nearby. 9 min walk to the railway station, yet safe and calm area (in January 2026). Healthy breakfast options, eggs freshly made to your liking (scrambled, boiled, etc.). The staff attentive and friendly. Charming tea/coffee lounge. Everything here is well thought out, comfortable, elegant, but not extravagant.

Clean, plain hotel in a great location, just don’t expect luxury

Location and staff were great

The facilities were quite spartan (albeit clean). For business travelers it would have been helpful to have an ironing board and iron in the room, perhaps also a fridge/minibar

Great location.

This property is in a great location. Loved the small lounge and bar that you could use during your stay. The lounge offered complimentary tea and coffee. Would have preferred to have tea and coffee in the room but as rooms are on the smaller size, I can understand why they have done it this way.

Rooms rather small, and you had to book in for your room to be serviced. We kept forgetting to do this so room wasn’t serviced over our 4 night stay. Had breakfast one morning. The charge was €22 which we felt was excessive for what we had.

The location of the hotel was excellent. The noise outside and inside the hotel was quiet. The shower was excellent and the cleanliness very good.

Excellent hotel in Salzburg.

Everything. I had a single room but it was larger than most singles and very comfortable. It was well lighted, had a desk with a lamp, a closet and it was very quiet even though it faced the street. The location was also good as it was only a 15-20 minute walk into the old town.

It’s in a good location and the hotel staff were friendly.

The hotel does not have parking despite it being stated when booking. Additionally the full flight of stairs to try and get luggage up just to get to the lobby proved to be a real challenge for an elderly couple checking in when we were leaving.

Not a pleasant experience.

convenient location

Room was super small. Mattress was very uncomfortable. No locker. Not even an extra glass in the room for water. Very limited choice for breakfast. No microwave or even an electric kettle in the room. Would not recommend to anybody for the price - super expensive.

The hotel's location was perfect for the activities I did. It was walking distance to and from the main train station and majority of the landmarks of Salzburg but it was a very quiet neighbourhood which I liked. The breakfast menu was extensive and freshly cooked eggs upon request every morning was a delight.

The stairs leading up to reception. It was hard lugging my suitcase up and down because of the weight. Although I didn't ask if the lift went all the way down to ground floor. My pillow was too soft from what I'm used to.

This was a great stay overall.

We didn’t try the breakfast. I really thought we had breakfast included but didn’t. I figured I could find a breakfast for under 22€ and we did both days find two for 16€ or less.

The parking situation was a bit annoying.

Excellent location and very friendly staff. We had a room at the back facing the gardens, which was nice and quiet. The temperatures in Salzburg were very high, and although the room did not have air con, I could sleep with the window wide open and not be disturbed by noise.

Super stay in a great value hotel

The location was excellent for us, close to the heart of the city and also the train station. the hotel felt very homely and relaxing after a day of sightseeing

Please be advised, if arriving with luggage, there are around 10 steps to carry your case up to get to reception. This was a surprise.

Cozy hotel in central location. Very clean and well

Very friendly and caring staff. Simple breakfast but very tasty. Nice honest bar offering drinks 24hrs. and nice living room offering coffee and tea all day. Location is great to both train stations, bus stops and walkable to mirebell garden and old Town.

Different, but in a good way

The hotel is in a great location. All major sights and the station are in easy walking distance. It has a pleasantly different, traditional but not fusty decor, in a much appreciated contrast to the usual corporate hotel style. The breakfast is excellent. The communal honesty bar has a wonderful collection of vinyl for guests to play. Restful garden in the back. The staff is very friendly, accommodating and welcoming.

As many reviews have already pointed out, if the lack of air conditioning in the hot Salzburg summers is an issue for you, don't stay there. Our top floor room was very warm. Efficient fans are provided though. Hair dryer could do with being updated.

So la la -ok, but not overall positiv

We got an upgrade, our room was quiet, furniture is average, but ok.

Absolute no check in before 15:00, the cleaning lady , who was still in the room, was really rude, when I just wanted to see the room at 14:55! Hotel entrance and staircase would need a renovation.

The shower door was losing bits. The bathroom sliding door stayed open if you use the sink. Pretty tight. Wardrobe and shelves absolutely minimal and nonexistent. Grey, dreary carpeting throughout. The cheapest of hotel furniture. Sadly, no tea/coffee/drinks in room. Their living room facility is a waste of time.

Fabulous bar with a superb record collection and player. Very relaxing for an early evening drink after a day's sightseeing. Good breakfast too.
