Lovely hotel but a bit off from the historic center. A bit noisy

Lovely hotel, comfortable and clean.

The hotel is a bit off from the historic center. Not sound proof though and a bit noisy. Reception not opened in the morning, so you can't leave your luggage there if you arrive early

Caution at booking if you’re more than 1 person as amenities are bare. But location is good.

The location was very good. Checkin was pretty smooth. The room was clean.

I have waited to comment to ensure I was being fair and not emotional. When I booked, I did not check to see whether or not I had to specify there would be 2 of us vs 1, because almost all bookings are for a room that can accommodate a couple. I.e., 2 pillows, 2 towels, a blanket the covers 2 people, etc. Unaware that I had booked only for 1 person, we asked for an extra towel. It was never delivered. When we called again (3hours later)for an extra towel and another pillow, we were told that there would be a $23 euro fee for the 2nd person. The woman was exceptionally rude and dismissive and the whole interaction gave our brief stay in Salzburg an unpleasant memory. Later that night someone politely delivered the 2nd towel a 2nd twin-sized blanket, and a pillow but really…a hotel room with a nice bathroom and a king-sized bed should have a blanket that fits the bed and include a 2nd towel. We paid the additional fee. So…not a great experience.

Perfect for us

Location was ideal; room was clean and adequate space. Had coffee for in room making It is very independent - never saw a staff person and all is automated. Worked well for us. Had luggage lockers for storage before room was ready.

For some it would be too independent - no services other than cleaning.

Not property but car parking. Really unclear signage. Our car got towed away on a Monday night, signs said that only happens on Tuesday or Wednesday nights. Cost 300 euro to get it back. Clearer information for travellers would be appreciated.

Staff is only available for a short time each day so check-in and check-out are "automated" via kiosks in the entryway. Dealing with any paperwork errors or system hiccups would be difficult.

Crap wifi. Couldn't checkout online because it said i had an outstanding balance and to pay at office. Office doesnt open to 12... checkout is 11. (Used self checkout machine and didn't end up paying anything) They spring you with a Tourist City Tax when you rock up that your not told about (pretty pricey) Room smelt like smoke.

Nice hotel and good location.

1- Nice modern room. 2- Easy Check in and Out. straightforward. 3- The hotel has lockers to keep your bags. 4- Short walk to the train station and city center. 5- Just in front of Mirabell garden and pick up point for Sound of music tour. 6- Room was clean and comfortable. 7- Many restaurants and bars close by.

Liked the hotel, not able to have a good sleep.

No parking available - eventhough it was advertised - and one of the double rooms was not prepared for 2 guests (missing towels & duvet). This combined with no staff made our stay less pleasant than it could have been. Room for improvement.

Spotless Room in a Perfect Location – Just Like the Photos!

I had a wonderful stay at this property! The room was exceptionally clean and exactly as shown in the photos, which was a pleasant surprise. Everything matched my expectations—from the comfortable bed to the modern amenities. The location was perfect, within easy walking distance to all the major attractions, including the Old Town and Mozart’s Birthplace. It made exploring Salzburg so convenient. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Salzburg!

Hotel Andrea overall good

Large comfortable rooms, great to have a fridge and tea/coffee facilties, good air conditioning. Lovely to be able to talk to a staff member during limited time they are there.

TV was German/Austrian only, for the price charged I would have wanted a British channel even just the BBC news!! There was a couple trying to check in late in the evening having an absolute nightmare!! No staff member of course as limited reception they were trying to get help through the intercom. Communication was very, very poor, I helped them check in - they were never going to get in otherwise - If you are not manning 24/7 get a better communication system and next to the check in system!!!!

The location of the hotel was great as it was tucked off the main road. Our room was incredible - a little tight but it was so clean and modern and had a phenomenal view. The outdoor pool was also incredible, along with the poolside service.

The only, only downfall of this place was our room was right off the train tracks so it would get a tiny but noisy. Our room also faced into other people's homes so it was sometimes awkward to have our balcony door/curtains open.

Perfect for a family of 4- great location, perfectly clean, comfortable.

The location of this hotel was perfect for my family- just a few steps away from Mirabelle Palace and the Altstadt. It was clean and comfortable and the high ceiling made the room feel much more spacious. The check-in was very easy. The pick-up point for the Panorama Sound of Music Tour was directly in front of the hotel door.

Great location and stylish, comfortable rooms made Hotel Andrä a perfect Salzburg base. Self check-in was confusing, and the 10:30 AM checkout felt early, but the post-checkout lockers were super handy for storing bags while exploring the town.

The air con or the air vent wasn’t working from second day onwards. The room was a hot chamber and despite trying to turn on the AC it would work for 39 seconds and switch off, couldn’t sleep at night. Then there is no reception so nobody to get hold off. Unless you throw towels on the floor despite putting clean the room sign it wouldn’t be clean.

Beautiful room in great location

Lovely, comfortable room. Bed was exceptionally nice with great mattress and pillows. Spotlessly clean. Contactless checkin was a little tricky, but staff was available to help. Location was perfect for us. Highly recommend this hotel.

Pleasant stay nearby the city

Hotel is new so everything is shiny and clean. Rooms are large and comfortable. Capsule coffee machine, kettle, mini fridge and cutlery in the rooms. Wardrobe has enough hangers. Good quality shampoo, soap and lotion is provided. Location is good, 15 mins walking distance from Christmas market and just across the Mirabell Palace. Also in a busy area with lots and shops, cafe’s, farmers market etc nearby. Staff is helpful, we had a small problem with the room and Raffaela handled it professionally. And we had a room change immediately (upgraded).

There is no breakfast service at all in the hotel which would have save time for us. Many cafe’s bakeries nearby, though.
