Hotel was dated with very old carpet. Overpriced for what it is. Breakfast was the high point

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well appointed. The breakfast buffet was very good. I felt over-warm in my room, so had to sleep with the window open though I had turned off the radiator.

The hotel is in a great location opposite the Mirabell Gardens and superb public transport is outside too with a direct service to and from the airport (bus no 2). The reception and breakfast staff are amazing and the Gluewien in the cafe is the best in Salzburg- we did extensive testing! The breakfast set us up for the day and was very good. All tastes are catered for with fresh eggs available to order. Some might say the room is small however it is more than adequate with big bed (extra pillows from reception) 2 chairs to and shower in the bathroom. It is not a modern character less hotel like a Travelodge or Premier Inn etc. there are fast food places nearby or wander for 5-10 minutes for great restaurants. Overall highly recommended.

Great location near Mirabell Gardens. Within 11-15 min walking of everything we would want to do in Salzburg. Hotel is a bit older - rooms are narrow and carpeted. Would have preferred additional pillows as the ones they have are very thing. Water pressure is excellent and shower gets very hot. Appreciated the complimentary water in the room. The AC unit was also very effective, it would be so nice in summer! Front desk staff very friendly and always available. Definitely recommend.

We loved this hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was huge. We had every facility we needed, including a mini fridge. The location was perfect for us, just minutes from the Mirabel gardens and a 10 min stroll from the old town. We even walked to Shloss Leopoldstrom in half an hour. The staff are amazing. Very accomodating and welcoming. We could not have asked for a better hotel for our stay in Salzburg.

Was not treated like others were being treated. Not served tea or asked like other guests. Chided like a child for picking up a plate from an area in buffet which the server didn’t like ( no signage to reflect that was not the place) . Seemed overwhelmed when asked if food was nut free when all places in the country label food with allergens. This is when the buffet cost $30/ person. Booked this hotel again for one night without buffet only because of location.

The entire staff, Julia in particular, were exceptionally helpful. Gave great advice on restaurants and how to get around. Hotel is very well located right in the middle of everything. From here, you can walk to everything.
