Hotel Flair

The staff was friendly and welcoming, the city center was easy to reach in about 10 minutes by bus, and the breakfast was good with enough variety. Adrian at the reception was extremely kind and helpful, and he provided us with excellent recommendations for exploring the city. The hotel allowed us to leave our car parked for a few hours after checkout, which was a very nice gesture.

Clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. The receptionist was very helpful on arrival, giving me advice on Salzburg. The hotel provides a free bus ticket for the length of the stay.

Nothing. But I noticed the price dropped closer to my stay so I could have spent less money.

The hotel experience was truly enhanced by the exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful reception staff. They provided excellent and very practical advice for staying in Salzburg, and honestly, without their support, the overall quality of the stay would not have been the same. Their professionalism and willingness to assist made a real difference throughout the visit.The hotel itself is basic, but it has all that you need. The location of the hotel is also good. On my first day, I was able to walk from the train station to the hotel without any difficulty, even while carrying heavy hand luggage. Upon arrival, I received a complimentary public transportation card for the city, which made getting around Salzburg even easier and more convenient. The bus stop is practically around the corner, about a four-minute easy walk from the hotel. Buses run approximately every 10 minutes, and it takes around 12 minutes — sometimes even less — to reach Mirabell Palace. Most tourist tours depart from the area around the Congress Center, and bus number 3 stops directly in front of it, making the location especially practical for visitors exploring the city.

If I were to suggest any small improvements, perhaps having a kettle in the room and slightly more luxurious bath amenities would make the experience even better. However, these minor details certainly did not reduce my overall satisfaction with the stay.

The staff is friendly.

The room looked quite worn and used. There was a kettle, but no cups and not even a couple of tea bags - what’s the point of having a kettle then? The hotel is fairly far from the city center, but the parking is inexpensive - €10 per day.
