Every thing was there but no water, coffee or tea in the room

The room was very nice and had plenty of storage space for suitcases. The staff were extremely pleasant. An example of something that the receptionist/owner? did that he didn't have to - as we were checking out he thanked us for choosing to stay at the hotel for our trip to Salzburg.

No air conditioning. The extremely hot weather during our stay really highlighted how this can enhance your stay. There was a fan in the room, which at least gave you a bit of a breeze, albeit of warm air. Still, it was better than nothing

The hotel is located in a very quiet and peaceful area. Although it is a little far from the city center, it has very good public transport connections, making it quick and easy to get around. One thing we really appreciated was that the hotel provided us with a public transport pass for the entire duration of our stay, which was extremely useful. The breakfast was also very good, and the staff were always friendly and pleasant.

The main downside, especially when visiting during summer, is that the rooms do not have air conditioning or a minibar/fridge to keep drinks or food cold. Temperatures can get quite high at this time of year, and sleeping with just a fan was quite difficult. Overall, we had a good stay, but because of the lack of air conditioning, I would not recommend this hotel during the hottest summer months. At other times of the year, however, it would probably be a very good option.
