Far from Center

The staff is friendly.

The room looked quite worn and used. There was a kettle, but no cups and not even a couple of tea bags - what’s the point of having a kettle then? The hotel is fairly far from the city center, but the parking is inexpensive - €10 per day.

Comolimentary bustickets a bonus

Nice and quiet place. The 2 gentlemen in the reception were super helpful! Good instructions and advices. The bustickets for the whole stay was a nice bonus

The waitress or cleaning person at the breakfast clearly did not like her job. No good morning, no thank you and she looked grumpy. Rooms were cold. Only 1 pillow: person. Not enough toiletpaper. Both toilet and shower was leaking. Needed maintenance.

Great little hotel out of the way so a bit of a walk into the old town. Great staff and breakfast.

In quiet location. Nice rooms with friendly gentleman on reception when checking in. Nice modern bar and breakfast room. Plenty of choice for breakfast.

No secure motorbike parking. Had to park in front of hotel off street.

The staff was kind and welcoming. The location is a bit out of the way, but we already knew that. It's a small hotel, only suitable for a one-night stopover... nothing more

Room cleaning was very superficial; hair was found between the sheets. The room very small and noisy due to its proximity to the road and nightclubs.

Great welcome and comfortable room

Upon arrival we were met by Alfred at the reception desk who is likely the reason that this hotel rates so highly in staff service. I have never seen someone who loves his job so much, not only was the check in quick and efficient but he was then happy to share lots of helpful information on things to do and see around Salzburg. 😊 The room was clean and comfortable, and the free bus pass provided by the hotel made it very easy to get to the city centre.

Clean & Comfortable

The hotel is close to the train/ bus station so convenient as we were travelling early the next morning. There was a very good Thai restaurant nearby. The hotel is on a residential side street, it was very quiet and the bed was comfortable so we slept well. The staff were friendly helpful.

The breakfast was limited in options, quite basic, and with an odd selection ( small off cuts of cheese that looked like left overs and fried chicken pieces) Close to the station but not so close to the touristic places.

I highly recommend this hotel for 1-2 nights comfortable stay. Everything was great and the price was reasonable.

Clean rooms, spacious and friendly staff. Bed was comfortable, pillows were perfect and shower was good. Breakfast was also good. All in all a very budget friendly experience. The location was quiet and peaceful. 12 mins walk from Salzburg central station. It was a great stay.

Value for money in city centre!

This place is in city centre. Just 10 minutes walk from central station. It’s well managed and clean. It’s in some residential location and won’t find any other hotels nearby. The morning breakfast was included for me the stay. So overall it was a good deal!

Ok for a short stay

Clean and spacious. Their parking lots were full so we parked on the street. They gave us the paper that said we are their guests and the parking was for free.

Excellent rooms and value.

Firstly the staff is excellent. There was an issue with booking.com software where number of guests were coming wrong on many bookings. Every other property confirmed the correct number only on chat through booking.com. This was the only property where staff called understood the issue, confirmed the right number, interacted with booking.com to formally set the thing right. Same was the experience while checking in. There were some rooms cancelled from our original booking. The lady on counter felt that the charge for remaining rooms was bit higher (about 7-10 euros) than her calculations and although we showed willingness to pay it she said she would not like to overcharge even by mistake and ultimately charged the perfect sum. Breakfast was good. Rooms are spotlessly clean and decent sized. Overall great value for money.

Not many restaurants nearby for dinner especially with vegetarian options.

Wifi didn't work the entire time of our stay. (does it ever work in this hotel?) Shared balcony so obvious security issues there. Room facing sun so very hot, no air con, not even a fan in the room. Staff then lied to booking.com saying they had given us a fan, they hadn't!.. Disinterested reception staff. My advice, pay more and stay in cental Salzburg..

An affordable accommodation in Salzburg

Affordable accommodation in Salzburg. About 10 minutes walk from main train station. Spacious enough single room for solo travellers. Has a lift if with heavy luggage. Breakfast is sufficient though not rich to someone perhaps. Hotel is at a quiet residential area with bus connection to city centre.

Some room amenities need repair but for single use, should be acceptable. Hotel isn't at usual tourist area so almost no restaurants or supermarkets nearby. Pillow too soft.

Comfortable and clean for the price it's worth considering.

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and it was easy to find the hotel from the train station. The breakfast was very nice.

The room had a sign on 1 window "do not open". Unfortunately this also meant it didn't quite seal properly so traffic and outside noise was loud. There is also no fridge, kettle or air-conditioning in the room. This would be a problem in summer.

A nice, clean, tidy hotel to come back to ...good value, nice staff !

We were very pleased with the efficiency of the staff. A staff member to whomwe spoke on the phone on the way to the hotel to let him know we were running late put our minds at ease by letting u knpw the entrance coded key would be in a small safe just outside the entrance of the hotel and provided a special code which allowed us to enter the hotel close to midnight. The next morning ...a nice, rich breakfast in buffet style awaited us. The staff at the morning reception was most helpful, also the person at the tourist office who all gave us useful information.

Nothing, the staff was friendly, forthcoming, beds were comfy, room was clean. The only thing I experienced (but not my spouse) was that one of the electrucal outlets next to my nightstand didn't seem to provide any electrical current. Maybe because the entrance card to the room had not been inserted in the foreseen storage amenity who also allows for all the lights to be able to be activated.
