Great boutique hotel

Vier Jahreszeiten in Salzburg is a prime example of what a boutique hotel should be like : tastefully designed & decorated, personal & friendly staff, attention to detail and good value for money. Location is not exactly in the Old Town, but a 15 min walk will get you there. The super helpful young man at reception got us a room although we arrived well before check-in time. Our room was generous in size with adequate space for luggage. A personal welcome note came with some lovely chocolate and cookies. I would have liked the bathroom a bit bigger, but it's OK if you take turns. We did not have breakfast included in our booking, so they offered us either "a la carte" or "anything you choose from the menu" for €25 . The young lady serving us was just the nicest person and really pampered us. The breakfast room is downstairs behind reception ; a pleasant space and the food was generous and delicious. Our only regret was that we only stayed for 2 nights. Congratulations to management and thank you to the staff !

It is a 15 minute walk to Salzburg Old Town. Our bathroom was on the small side.

Excellent hotel well located for the station and town.

The room was excellent thoughtfully designed and comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent, the service was super friendly, quick and helpful. The food was beautiful, the eggs done beautifully and a tastey bircher muesli, they even catered for my gluten free wife.

The croissants were slightly over cooked but its a very minor point.

Excellent stay in well located cosy hotel

Staff members were friendly and helpful, bed was very comfortable and location was excellent for walking to the centre of Salzburg without being in the tourist hub. I would thoroughly recommend and happily stay again

Good location, excellent staff and hotel

Staff were extremely helpful and attentive, had many recommendations and were available at all times. Rooms were clean and classically decorated. Check in was easy and we were able to store luggage. Made our trip to Salzburg very smooth and enjoyable

Very enjoyable 3 days but quite a bit of rain so we didn’t get up into the mountains.

Smallish room, with unnecessary chairs & table making it hard to get around. Lovely building but no Air Con in the room.

Convenient to walk into the city but far enough out from the main tourist area for it to be quiet at night (a bonus) All the staff we encountered were incredibly friendly and helpful.

It felt a little tired. The bedroom furniture wasn’t fit for purpose, there were no drawers to put any clothes which meant everything had to stay in the suitcase. Also the heating seemed to be on 24/7 which was a bit too much.

Very clean room, a bit on the small side. The staff was so very friendly. They made dinner reservations for us, and on a Friday night during Christmas market time, that isn't always easy. Everything that we had tried was already fully booked. The staff is really the best. Parking was a block away. Easy.

The location is far from the train station , 15- 20 minutes walk. The fridge was 100% fill up with the hotel products to sell, no room for the guest, not cold. The bath and the toilet is so small and no ventilation. No kettle and tea and coffee facilities No free bottle water.

Well located, comfortable place to stay

I booked a room for four people, and to my surprise we were given two rooms, each with its own bathroom, and a connecting door. This worked perfectly as we were too couples traveling together. It was very comfortable, a tad old fashion, but overall really nice!

Great location, both close to the old city center(alstadt) and the main station(hauptbahnhof), all of the staff was so kind, rooms are big enough and quite comfortable

Wonderful staff! The man who checked us in even gave us his own umbrella and recommended a great brunch place. If management is reading this - I hope you are showing your appreciation to a member of the staff who is doing an excellent job! The rooms are cozy, like going to an old lux villa. A bit outdated but charming. 24 hour reception is great.
