Perfect Como short break

Great welcome by the staff on arrival and guidance re. parking. The room, the facilities, the breakfast were all fantastic. The building itself is ancient and has been made into a hotel with the appropriate care and attention towards its history, without compromising on comfort. The use of a code to get in the doors is a great idea and makes navigation around the place very convenient - not something I would have considered. The only negative about the place is that if you have a car you have to go and find a public parking spot and it was fine for me and my wife as we're perfectly mobile, but for others it might be a show-stopper. It was a busy holiday when we arrived and had to drive around for quite a while to get a space and we got one about 10 mins walk away. A couple of days later when we drove out for the day we got one a bit closer on our return. Cost about 64 pounds for the 5 days we were there.

The building was charming and quaint, and the room was large by European standards. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

The location was a 10 minute walk to the center of Como and even larger walk to the main train station. And the breakfast was not really worth the additional 18 euros.

Outstanding!

The Suites & Atelier Lake Como are outstanding. The rooms are beautifully decorated with lots of extras including hairdryer and hair straighteners. The breakfast was lovely and the location was perfect, just a few minutes walk from the lake and all local attractions and amenities. We also had a gorgeous lake view and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Perfect place for our trip and time in Lake Como. Highly recommend.

The access which was behind a restaurant which sometimes smelt a bit and there are quite high steps leading up to the room and a couple within the room which if you struggled with stairs would be a problem however the room was lovely.

VERY Overpriced, room was located above trash cans in an alley, NO SECURE PARKING,

Extremely overpriced, this place was presented as private suites however it more resembled an Airbnb with flimsy keypads for the doors, the rooms we had were dark and musty, perhaps the other suites in the complex are nicer but ours were located in the back over an alley directly over the trash cans so when you open the windows the smell of trash came directly into to our room, the worst part about this property was that they dont have secure parking, if i had known this i never would have booked this because our car was broken into and everything was stolen (cells phone, identity, clothes, shoes, EVERYTHING) the theives even tried to break into the lock box to the property as i found it broken in the morning. in one of the rooms, there were tiny flying bugs and my son had trouble sleeping. what i have written here is completely accurate. not exaggerating. and not defamatory. your employee was so rude to me in the morning when i tried to explain to her why my son had to sleep there and i willingly paid the fee for the extra person. i wish i had booked in a hotel with better service and with secure parking. the theft destroyed the rest of my trip and you dare ask why i didnt pick up the phone when you called me. I HAVE NO PHONE, my email was locked for one week, my bank accounts have been hacked into, my business accounts all locked. it has been a nightmare. my review is accurate of MY EXPERIENCE, maybe your other guests have a good time and enjoy your property but i am entitled to my opinion about MY EXPERIENCE HERE. so dont threaten me to remove the review. i have added details here to explain my complaints. also we did not empty the minibar we removed the items and left them on the desk so we could put our own water bottles in the refrigerator. shame on you.

HIGHLY recommend this hotel. A great location, the most charming hotel and they have thought of every need one might have-even including hair straighteners and curling irons. The patio for relaxing is so charming, I wish I could replicate it at home. It has all the charm one would hope to find in an Italian city. Staff was great, breakfast was equally as good. Parking was on the street and has a fee-so a short walk was required-but it’s a beautiful walk!!

This place was excellent. The service from the girls also was great. Breakfast was first class. They drop the price to 120 to 130 euros when occupancy is low after 7pm ish. This place is good value anyway. At 200 euro. But 133 euro Inc breakfast was a big win for us. Stunning attention to detail and books of interest all over. Individually styled rooms. This was our best hotel exp.

Underwhelmed

Location and the bathroom that was recently renovated .Quite and central to everything in Como.

The car park was €40 and very difficult to access even though we had a very small car.The breakfast provided was just ok. The internet was not working so had no TV either.This went on for two days.

That is wonderful!!!

What a special boutique hotel! I wish all my hotel experiences could be this wonderful. Every detail was thought about and the kind staff made sure you had what you needed. They gave us free tickets to the funicular bypassing the very long lines, (I recommend lunch up at the top). This hotel is the place you want to book. It is tucked in behind some restaurants on the main road so a little more difficult to find but we’ll worth it!

The breakfast was perfect with eggs and bacon to order on top of the buffet. The locations was great for walking into town, the train station, restaurants and the ferry.

Beautiful apartments, superb location!

Location was perfect, although a little hard to find as we were dropped off by the taxi on the street below. The rooms were lovely and clean, all had views (or glimpses) of the lake. The room with the bath and terrace was superb. I especially enjoyed the coffee machine and pods and all the extra toiletries. The staff were lovely and helpful. The breakfast was extensive and more than enough to fill up for the day. I would have loved to have stayed a little longer.

It would have been helpful if the staff provided additional assistance with organising ferry tickets, as it was especially busy day and lining up for tickets was almost impossible. We were provided with schedules, but it took a while to understand what was what.
