Beautiful hotel in Bergamo!

The location on a small street in the city center with parking is very convenient to shopping, restaurants, and old town access. Elevator. Breakfast has various meats, cheeses, fresh fruits, yogurts, juices, fresh coffee, and eggs to order...stocked continuously. Staff is friendly, helpful and professional. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable with nice, cotton sheets. Everything is very thoughtful. Bottled water, fresh fruit in the room. Small refrigerator is stocked.

Tv channels are limited.

In general, Petronilla Hotel is a very beautiful, relatively small boutique hotel in a very central location in Bergamo. It's very clean, beautifully decorated and cozy. I think though that what I have appreciated the most were the staff. I think it's quite rare to meet hotel staff as pleasant and helpful as the people working at Petronilla. They really made me feel welcome and special. Looking forward to visit again. Grazie mille per tutto!

Great Boutique Hotel with excellent service and staff in the Heart of Bergamo.

This 12 room Boutique Hotel had a very welcoming vibe. The staff were exceptionally friendly helpful and professional. Great attention to detail. Breakfast cooked to order with extensive buffet and the Coffee was Great too.

The room was modern, very clean with a comfortable bed and excellent bathroom facilities and a good wardrobe. The layout of the furniture could have been better to allow for a comfortable relaxation seating area in our opinion. That is all. It would not stop us staying again.

Location central, reception staff all exceptional. Room quiet,very clean, good bed, amazing shower. Breakfast room very pleasant, great selection of excellent fresh fruit, cereal, bread, breakfast cakes. Good coffee.

World class staff, location, breakfast and facilities and value for money.

The staff, in particular, were outstanding in every way from marking a map and and providing guidance on what to see based on our interests including dinner reservations to parking our car for us and drying clothes after we got caught in a rain storm. Absolutely the best we have ever encountered from arrival to departure!! Perfect location for touring and shopping, outstanding breakfast and world class accommodation and value for money.

A gem in the city of Bergamo

A very well designed boutique style hotel in the center of Bergamo. Spacious rooms, comfortable bed, lots of light in the room as there was a balcony in the bathroom and two windows in the room. The staff was super helpful, polite and friendly and gave us all the tips for the city. I would definitely recommend it !

I will return to this hotel. The management was amazing ! They were not only helpful but able to perceive difficulties and helped when they felt necessary. I truly appreciated the extra service and care given during my stay. Congratulations on making people feel so welcome!

On balance it was a reasonably good place to stay for the price.

This hotel is very comfortable and the staff are super friendly and helpful. We appreciated the private parking which costs 20 euros per day. The excellent location of the hotel makes it possible to do everything on foot so you can leave the car behind. The room was spotlessly clean and provided a quiet place to sleep. We had a good breakfast, but no offer of eggs day 1 - just buffet style food. The next day we were offered a very delicious omelette.

Decor wise I think we were unlucky with our room, which seemed dated and was extremely dull with poor window coverings. The design was not at all tasteful in my opinion, perhaps a bit retro, but not smart. You wouldn't have wanted to spend much time in our room as it was rather depressing. All rooms are different so maybe we were unlucky. The shower was more of a mist than a shower so not perfect for washing your hair.

Absolutely perfect stay at Petronilla Hotel!

Everything!! The location is excellent, the property is beautiful, charming, and comfortable! The breakfast is WONDERFUL, but by far the best “thing” about the hotel is the staff! Francesco and Rebecca, in particular, were amazingly helpful, kind and lovely!

I loved everything! I’m looking forward to returning!
