Very enjoyable. Bergamo is a lovely place

Breakfast was good quality. The bread was very fresh and tasty. With lovely Italian cake. Hotel is right in the heart of the medieval town. So expect church bells.

The location in thd citta alta was perfect. Can easily get the bus or funiculare down into town. The hotel organised us a transfer frrom and to the airport. The breakfasts were great. On our first night our receptionist booked us a restaurant as we were quite late. So nice of her!

Occasionally breakfast was very busy. Mostly due to a group of rugby fans who were staying. No kettles in rooms so had to ask for any teas to be brought up. Not a problem but it felt an imposition

Fantastic hotel in the middle of historical old town.

Fantastic hotel. Right in historical Centre. Everything clean and well decorated. Very genuine experience staying in such a historical hotel in the middle of historical town centre. He will be right on the main street where everything will be a walking distance. I can really recommend this hotel.

Breakfast is extremely limited. It’s definitely not enough for a decent breakfast. They should be much more choice for the warm food. Not only sweets and coffee. For Italian people it may be fine but foreigners staying in this hotel and they have different habits of breakfast.

Needed to walk up stairs to lobby, but staff helped me. Difficult to control hot and cold in shower. And by the way don’t flush the toilet if your in the shower.

Perfect stay when visiting Bergamo.

Excellent location right in the heart of old town, lovely building, the rooms were very spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff were great, nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to my next visit.

Nice hotel. Staff are nice but check location and access.

The photos of the hotel on websites do not show the actual entrance to the hotel which you nearly miss as it is on a very busy walkway. We didn’t think it deserved a four star rating. Three stars yes. Access is up stone stairs. With luggage that’s quite difficult. There is a disability stair lift but I’m guessing you’d have to phone to attract attention for that assistance. The location is good but extremely noisy. Nice hotel but only 3 stars and photos of the exterior of the hotel are misleading.

Clarity about access to the hotel. And maybe a few words about it being on a busy walkway.

A good and central place to stay in Bergamo

Prologue: We are not the ones giving anything and anybody a 10-Point or 5-Star-Rating. 9 and 10 is reserved for not only matching our expectations but surprising us with s.th. unexoexted. In this case the follwing 2 points were 9 to 10 points. The bathroom!!! Not only beautyfull designed but really big with a almost perfekt shower! A slight issue with keeping the water inside the shower doesn t change rhe amazing experience! The Front-Officers were extraordenary helpfull and kind!!!

The light in the room could be a little brighter. The aircondition could be a little bit easier to understand. Getting from the Parking-Garage to the Hotel and there up the stairs could be a little easier, too. The breakfast is ok, the coffee is italian :-) and without limit :-) :-) , but there could be a little more variety at the buffet.

Great location on Main Street

Great location on the Main Street of the old easy. Easy to navigate to once you get off the number 1 bus. There are some steep stairs from the street to get to reception. We had a large room with large bathroom. Had a very comfortable sleep and the streets are very quiet in the night. Breakfast was a good selection.

Central, convenient and lovely hotel

Beautiful hotel right in the centre of the old town of Bergamo. Perfectly located for exploring, strolling and eating/drinking in the Citta Alta. Short walk to the funicular to access the new town. Lovely staff. Our room had a view over the rooftops to the foothills of the Italian Alps.

Location superb, in the centre of the old town close to the sights and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent. We had a room with a small balcony that had a lovely view, the room was spacious with a beautiful bathroom.

A lovely hotel run by wonderful people in a beautiful city!

Cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff is outstanding, the rooms are large and clean and the location is perfect for exploring the historic areas of this beautiful city. And, the breakfast was wonderful! We couldn't ask for more.

The only downside is we had to park our car off-site at a very expensive garage.

A beautiful historic, small, hotel with personal attention and services.

Lara and Tessie (sp) were both wonderful and very helpful. The room is beautiful. We had two single beds, as requested. The bath was a good size. The breakfast in the morning was more than substantial. The LOCATION was mostly ideal and the view from the room of the piazza below and bell tower was beautiful (but see below). They arranged for our taxi to the airport. All was really great. I would certainly return.

I wish I had requested a room facing away from the street. While the view was beautiful, the noise from the restaurant below was a bit disturbing and thankfully the bell tower did not chime after 22 hours. Nothing that could not be resolved using ear plugs.

Excellent Stay, Great Location, Great find.

The location was incredible, right near everything in the lower old town. Close to restaurants and shops. The hotel is bright, fresh and very clean. Our delightful room overlooked the front of the hotel. Breakfast was continental style & very fresh. Staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. The reception is manned 24/7.

A delightful hotel in a lovely old building in the heart of the old city.

Excellent breakfast with a very good range of fruit, cakes and savoury products. The staff were super helpful - booking our taxi to the airport and assisting with luggage.

The bathroom was very modern and attractive but water sat all night in the shower base. Also it was very noisy from 7am in the courtyard below with workers dealing with refuse.

In the heart of the old city. Fabulous staff, very nice and helpful. They helped with arrangements for car transportation to Milan. Continental B’fast was good.

Classic room was on the noisy side of the hotel and the room was smaller. After one night they switched us to a deluxe room which was the much nicer and quiet. I wouldn’t recommend driving a car here at all. Better to come by taxi.
