Lovely location & Great stay.

I really liked the location and the balcony. The room had everything we need. Easy self check in.

Family Staying in the same apartament, was talking in the common area till late, they had kids which was crying all night long.. so we couldn't sleep.Also light in the living room kept our room bright during the night. Also don't walk in the dark as I have tripped on the step in the common area, and fractured my ankle during my stay. Also didn't like that I wasn't informed in advance that I'll have to pay city tax, I thought it's already included in the price.

Comfortable bed, cleanness, mostly well planned amenities, attention to detail, civilised building and location. The extra perks, like the coffee machine and complimentary coffee, thank you 😊

The common bathroom was a bit strange (the layout) and a bit old, the sink weirdly placed outside the common room and not easy to use, in the entryway. There was a step in the hallway that was difficult to see and seriously shook my (operated) back (it can easily be made more visible). The doors of the rooms not very secure and you can hear every little noise next door.

Didn't know it's shared bath and living room. dared not turn on lights middle of night to disturb other occupants of 2 other rooms when I wanted do go bathroom. window faces staircase. although privacy is ensured, but footsteps noise came right through the bedroom. Needed a bit of time to get used to these type of conditions.

One bathroom for three rooms. There iwas a window between kitchen and our room and when there was someone in the kitchen during the night, the light bothering us and we heard everything.

Feeling the city like locals

The location was absolutely amazing! Old mansion with a character and a view on the old city from the balcony - and waking up with the church bells in the morning made us feel a little bit local, at the root of everything. And the staff was absolutely amazing! We definitely want to return!

Amazing hosts, great value.

Very helpful hosts. They were very kind to answer all our questions and even helped us search for the airport bus schedules. Very convenient location. Walkable distance to the train station. Walkable distance to the airport bus station. We stayed overnight to catch our flight in the very early morning, but we still enjoyed the area and Citta Alta (great restaurants and pizzerias around).

A centrally located shared accommodation

The property was clean and very centrally located. It had a communal fridge which was handy to make breakfast etc. Beatrice was very helpful.

The property is a former apartment that is now divided into shared accommodation with 3 separate bedrooms and a shared kitchen area. There is only one bathroom though. Also we were there was a heatwave while we were in Bergamo and the property does not have air conditioning.

A good choice for one night before or after a flight, fair value for money, helpful host.

It was OK for one night, as we landed in the middle of the night and needed a place to stay until the morning, it's rather close to Bergamo airport. And Beatrice was kind enough to share the self check-in instructions and help us with booking a taxi in the next morning. The rooms were spacious and clean as well as the linens and towels.

There is no air-condition and it was a very hot night, it was difficult to fall a sleep, and it was quite noisy in the morning from the street. We also were not aware that the the triple room had a shared entrance and kitchen, and that there will be other guests in the apartment, it wasn't a big thing but we would have liked to know about it in advance.

The stay in Bergamo was great. The location of La Maison is good, but the place could be more comfortable.

The TV was a smart-TV so that was nice (our kid could watch some YouTube). The location is central and near both the station and Citta Alta.

No air condition only a fan. The apartment gets extremely hot and humid in summer. There are windows to the street, but it’s a noisy street so you must decide between fresh air or silence. Also, the only other window is in the bathroom, so the apartment does not have a lot of natural light - it’s pretty dark. There is a small kitchen but a few key things were missing: No espresso-cups. No kettle. No dishwasher. There was a table and four dining chairs, but the chairs had seen better days. There was only one bedlight. There is a bathtub which is a plus, but no shower curtain.

The street was very noisy, especially in the night and early in the morning and it didn’t have a/c so we couldn’t close the windows. Also the hall of the ground floor in the entrance of the building had a bad smell all the time.

La Maison is situated in the downtown, exactly as it is pointed in the description. The room and the shared bathroom were very clean, and the double bed was really comfortable. From La Maison to the historical old town of Bergamo, you can enjoy a picturesque walk. The host Beatrice was extremely polite and responsive, and she gave us extra information on gelateria and pizza osteria. I recommend the place if you want to get the most of Bergamo, especially for a short stay. After the left corner, there is a wonderful bakery (Heidi & Peter). The cafe on the left is also fantastic. Thank U, Beatrice, for your hospitality!
