Can’t say there was anything to dislike! But if I were pressed to suggest some improvements then I would suggest: 1. Offering coffee facilities in the room; 2. A longer bed! Not only was it short for folks who are above 1,75m but it was not so comfortable for two people because we rolled in the middle all night!

could have been reminded where to go or directions to the breakfast place for the Wednesday closed we came down to find decorators who couldn't tell us . but a fairly minor issue we just had breakfast somewhere else

A true hidden gem!

When in the neighborhood this is a must stay! This was our first stay during our two week travel in Italy and we couldn’t have wished for a lovelier place. We completely fell in love with Bergamo Citta Alta, the apartment, the charming city, the architecture, the stunning views during day and night were breathtaking and there was so much to explore. The apartment was wonderful and located on the 2nd floor in a very stylish building. The Cavour breakfast, pastries and ice cream made a huge impact on my three children (18, 14, & 10). The staff was very the helpful and did everything to make our stay memorable.

Romatic views and luxurious feel! Absolutely gorgeous

The views are terrific! A lovely view of the towns skyline with wonderful sounds and views of the bell towers. The balcony is gorgeous with a really romantic feel to it. The room was exceptional - clean comfy and plenty of natural light - a real hidden treasure!

Honestly - there was so much to like but a couple of things we found difficult was finding the keys and navigating the stairs - only as we were on the top floor and had a lot of luggage. The lift didn’t go right to the top floor so if we had of had mobility issues it would have been a struggle.

Perfect in-town stay

I just had a quick overnight in town, but this hotel was perfect. The room was very tastefully done, with a designer boutique hotel feel. The bed was super comfortable and the room was quiet. The location was fantastic - right in the middle of the old town, conveniently located by many restaurants and shops. I didn't encounter any staff, but the check-in instructions were helpful enough to not need any assistance with check-in and check-out.

Great location. All facilities in good condition. Stylish, with attention to detail. The bakery- restaurant is really excellent.

Our room faced the street, which is very busy. But there is no noise when the window is closed.

Modern & comfortable stay

We had a nice and comfortable stay at Locanda Cavour. There are no reception, but they send messages with all the check-in information you need and are also quick to respond to emails. Easy to check-in at the cafe. The room was clean and modern, and location was perfect. Breakfast was simple, but really good coffee. Very comfortable beds.

Exceptional place the best accommodation I’ve ever had in Italy

This place is outstanding, it’s a soft melange of the atmosphere of the ancient building and subtle modern interior. Room was super super clean, comfortable, light, spacious, equipped with above standard amenities. I had a street view through red geraniums on my window. When opening the window first I saw beautiful flowers then typical italian balconies and magical street. Flowers here really touched my heart, there are roses and geraniums on the patio balconies offering magical view of backyard and church tower. Room is softly modern, cozy, bed is very comfortable. I found toothbrush, signature shower gel and lotion, vanity kit, shower cap, sleepers, water (still/sparkling). Very ambient scent in the room because of the signature home fragrance diffuser. What I have to stress out is the exceptionally helpful staff. Human factor is a priceless assett here. Communication and assistance was outstanding. Hotel has no reception I was provided detailed assistance, my room was ready so I was allowed to get in before check in time and leave my luggage in the hotel after check out what I considered as extremly convenient as I stayed in Bergamo only two days. Pasticceria on the ground floor offers a high quality pastry from morning pastry to sophisticated artisan little desserts in a cozy and old charm luxurious interior. Summary: people involved, comfortness, cleanliness, super cozy room, gentle sense to combine history and modern comfort, touch of flowers and cute details it all made my stay unforgettable. Thanks for everything. If I come back I will definitely stay here again

Bit of a let down and not a great night sleep but well appointed room

Modern, fresh design, well constructed, great central location

Bed too small (im 183cm and feet off end of bed), only thin firm pillows, blankets not duvet. Advertised as hotel but its air bnb with many complex instructions and pre check reading to access. Parking cost us another 25 euro, had to be out by 10am, lift doesnt reach the top floor and awkward with heavy bags

Centrally located romantic old town stay

Central location in historic old town with large choice of beautiful bars and restaurants close by. Loved hearing the sounds of the various church bells peeling from our room - very atmospheric and a very romantic place to stay too. Highly recommend.

Over-priced as no breakfast included in the rate and for the same price charged could have stayed in a hotel for less money.

Amazing accomodation. Worth the money.

Central location, right on the most important street of Bergamo Alta, very near the main square and most important attractions (cathedral and Santa Maria Maggiore), restaurants, shops...everything. Luxury brand new rooms, amazing decoration, latest technology (doors, lights, bathroom, wifi, smart tv, netflix etc), soundproof windows, luxury toiletries, safety in entering the room with three doors thst open with your personal pin. Located over their own pasticceria which has amazing pastries & coffee in an excellent decor. They also have a gourmet restaurant (expensive of course) and another place for breakfast that are worth visiting. Staff was very helpfull and friendly.

It was our first experience to stay in hotel with full electronic check in and it was fun. Felt like quest to be solved first 5 minutes, but all instructions were clear and we enjoyed it. I guess that's how hotels of the future will look like. Very clean, very comfortable beds, perfect location.

Sofia, the property contact, gave an outstanding service. She was available 24/4, answered quickly to all questions. She even organized a last min taxi pick up for night flight. The property itself is a cute place in the heart of the old city. Very clean, new facilities.
