Exceptional location but the service provided must be urgently reviewed by the management.

The location that the property is situated is amazing.Just in the entrance of the citta Alta.The room was very quiet .The room was very warm.As we stayed in January 2026 with zero degrees of temperature outside the heat is very important.

The cleanliness of the room is something that the management must review urgently.The bed sheets and the blanket were full of hair.We had to use a third sheet that was available in the room and sleep on it.On top of that the floor looked like never have been vacuumed with electric broom before.For those who are interested in the room also did not have a TV set.Furthermore despite the fact that on the booking the price refers that includes all taxes and charges we were asked to leave an extra 20 euros cash as city tax.

Excellent location considering the historic center. Possibility to make coffee from Nespresso capsules.

Request to pay city tax during the accommodation process, even though all fees were paid in the price of the stay. (Booking.com acknowledged the payment was unauthorized and returned the money.)

Fantastic accommodation in Citta Alta

The apartment is centrally located and just a few minutes walk from the Funicular. This place is so quirky and has everything you may need for your stay. On arrival, I had to call the owner at 2am and he answered immediately. He was so helpful. I would definitely return to these apartments.

Very nice place close to everything in the historic city. The room was spacious and had everything you need. It has no mobile reception but WiFi is provided. Unique design, different than the ordinary.

There was a little mold in the bathroom. Also, we were requested to pay 10€ in cash for tourist taxes which is not mentioned clearly in the description in Booking. In all other places, tourist taxes are clear and detailed in the description. It’s not a deal breaker but this should have been mentioned publicly to have a clear overview of the total cost.

+ Very responsive host - I booked the property on the day of arrival and was able to check in 20 minutes later. + Hipster place - very creative interior. + Clean + Excellent location in Citta Alta right next to an airport but stop. + Common area includes a fridge, coffee maker and other facilities.

Great value, excellent location.

Not quite sure how the room was such a good price for the location. It is a very short walk to the old town centre with cafes and shops. Room was clean, well sized and had unique decor. Host was very helpful and polite as well.

It was beyond noisy, luckily we had airpods that could help a little bit. most things from the street outside can be herd inside the room if you have room with window toward the street.

Perfect location, and excellent value for money!

The location is spot on. Just a short walk to the main Piazza Vecchia Square. The room was very spacious, we loved the feel of the space and the building was gorgeous. If you're looking for a restaurant recommendation - Circolino Citta Alta is fabulous

For us it was fine, we only stayed at the property for one night which was plenty.

Wonderful location

This accommodation is in a superb location. You are practically in the middle of the old city and only about one minute walk from the famous Porta San Giacomo landmark. There are amazing views of Bergamo from the old city walls nearby. In the nearby Alta Citte there are many wonderful places to visit and lots of delicious cafes, restaurants, and bakeries. The room was comfortable and there is no noise at night. Very peaceful street. In the hallway of the accommodation there is a shared area for making tea & coffee. I would recommend staying here on the basis of the superb location.

The room could have been a little bit cleaner. There was some dust and the shower needs a good deep clean. But overall, the cleanliness was ok.

Good location for a one night stay.

Interesting accommodation in an old traditional building, just a short walk from the funicular and city centre. Good wifi once you are inside. Bus stop to/from Bergamo airport just outside. Could have been really cute and quirky but there are things to be aware of - see below.

The image that appears on the profile on Booking.com is not the building you stay in - the actual entrance was very confusing to find. Need clearer instructions. Owner was helpful but the wifi outside the building was non-existent, so getting instructions on where to go is difficult. Window looked out onto internal courtyard, with all neighbours windows looking in. Keep the curtains closed! The room's services also list coffee machine/kettle, but they are not in the room, they are provided on a shelf on a shared landing. Not ideal for privacy. We only made a coffee but the washing up area was basically a cleaners sink. The floor in the room was very dusty. The en-suite was adequate but tiny. Our room was described as de-luxe but it doesn't really live up to that description.
