We couldn't have stayed in a more beautiful place.

Everything was wonderful, from the welcome, the generosity of the host, the attention to detail, the quality of the products and services, the discretion, attention, and care provided throughout the stay. The location is wonderful (palace), easy to find, in a wonderful corner of Bergamo (the old town),a few meters from the funicular station.Easy access to all attractions in the old town. We arrived much earlier than check-in time, and Barbara generously gave us the room and offered us breakfast (prepared with great care, with quality products, in an elegant and welcoming atmosphere, where you feel at home). Because we were leaving very early in the morning, our host also made sure that breakfast was prepared in advance.

The fact that we had to leave such a wonderful place.

Perfect place to stay to enjoy Bergamo

Staff is exceptional — so helpful in every way. Comfortable, clean rooms and good breakfast, prepared with care. Lovely living room and breakfast room and perfect location for the upper city. We come to Bergamo often and will always try to book a room here - every time. Also great WiFi for working remotely

A perfect stay in beautiful Bergamo

A stunning property right in the centre of the beautiful citta alta. The room was spotlessly clean, with quality bedsheets, towels and toiletries. We also used the communal lounge to play games which was really comfortable. The breakfast was great too. Barbara the host was really friendly and helpful, all instructions were clear and sent with good notice. Such a beautiful place to stay 100% recommended.

A very pleasant stay in the old city.

The location was ideal and the hotel was very quiet with good soundproofing from the street below. There was a lovely breakfast and very classy, comfortable lounge to relax in. There was a proprietor was vey helpful before and during our stay.

Fantastic Stylish Hotel in Excellent Location

Loved the fantastic attention to detail. The decor is stylish Italian -loved the monogrammed bed linen and gold cutlery ! Bathrooms are fabulously equipped with lots of thick towels . Location is perfect. Breakfast is excellent in stylish dining room. Good service . Good coffee maker in room and complimentary water . Good thoughtful restaurant recommendations and itinerary.

Didn’t like having to contend with remembering 6 digit code to get in . Unfortunately we were given the wrong code initially which irritating not being able to get in on arrival . No view from our room .

Perfect Stay in Excellent Location

I rarely say “perfect,” but this stay was so in every way. I had the larger room, including a walk-in closet, Nespresso machine, big comfortable bed, table with chairs, and window with a view. The facilities are impeccable in a beautiful old building right in the center of the historic Alta. Immediate support via WhatsApp for all needs and questions.

Wow! Everything about this place is amazing.excellent value for money

We were so impressed at how beautiful, elegant and stylish the place is. We felt like we were staying in a museum. The family room was so clean and comfortable and spacious. The location is right in the center of the upper city. This must be one of the best accommodations we’ve stayed in.

Lovely place in an excellent location

This property is in an excellent location right next to where the funicular arrives. There are many shops and restaurants nearby and the views are beautiful. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. It had a very nice walk in closet to help keep us organized. The bathroom and room itself was decent sized, especially by European standards. Coffee and fruit were available at any time. Barbara, the contact person, is very responsive and helpful with many ideas to make your visit enjoyable. She was very sympathetic to our travel delay and we greatly appreciated that after all the airline stress. The property was very quiet. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves!

My only knock was that the breakfast wasn’t anything special. I am not a big breakfast person so the continental style was perfect for me. But if you want something hot, then you will be disappointed.

The location could not have been more perfect! The palazzo is in Città Alta next to the funicular station. It was a short walk to all of the major sites.

Small, comfortable and very convenient. If you visit Bergamo, then stay in the Città Alta in the Palazzo Porta Picta. You won’t be sorry. Only 15 steps from the top of the funicular and 20 steps from an aperitive bar! Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, excellent air conditioning, good coffee machines and an adequate breakfast for all tastes. Constant WhatsApp contact with the manager, compensated for the lack of presence.

This is the place to stay if you want to feel at home and experience Bergamo..

Amazing Place, All renovated and the rooms are impeccable. We loved the ease of getting in and out and extremely convenient if you plane on stay up in the Citta Alta area. Definitely recommend it. I have friends that will be coming in October and gave them the info and how to contact Barbara. She is the best host!!

Beautiful palace in the center of Citta Alta

Our stay here was definitely a plus. This place is a must if you love rich Italian interiors with a touch of modernity. Very comfortable bed, beautiful stone bathroom, great view from the window to the small square and lovely hosts. All this in the center of Citta Alta, yet the nights were peaceful here. Un séjour digne d’un roi, où tout était parfaitement réussi.

La suite 401 est tout simplement immense, avec une vue à couper le souffle. La proximité du centre est idéale, le personnel se montre toujours à l’écoute et très réactif, et le garage privé et sécurisé apporte un vrai confort supplémentaire.

S’il fallait mentionner un petit point d’amélioration, ce serait le pain précuit au petit-déjeuner. Après un séjour absolument royal, ce détail contraste légèrement. Mais c’est vraiment insignifiant et très vite oublié.

Bijou niché en haut du funiculaire de la città alta, chambre très confortable, service exemplaire (bouteilles d’eau bues à la chambre offertes chaque jour!), petit déjeuner de grande qualité: un Must!

Un seul regret: seulement du café en capsules au petit déjeuner, quel dommage!

Palazzo storico in centro storico con affaccio diretto sulla piazza. Struttura pulita e con tutti I comfort necessari.

Colazione un po' limitata senza la possibilità di ordinare al tavolo ma con poche camere è comprensibile. In camera c'erano bicchieri e cavatappi, metterei qualche bottiglia a disposizione del cliente (a pagamento ovviamente). Le porte di ingresso non sono troppo isolanti acusticamente, migliorabili.

Relax in centro a Bergamo . Sciccosa struttura meravigliosamente ristrutturata

La struttura è curatissima in pieno centro storico . Accogliente , calda , sicura . Abbiamo alloggiato due notti con nostro figlio . Davvero da raccomandare , servita di tutto . All’interno non manca nulla . Con il codice della stanza e della struttura entri ed esci quando vuoi . Anche questo aspetto e’ molto valido .
