We had a wonderful stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the décor throughout the hotel, both inside and outside the rooms, was beautiful. The staff were very helpful and offered excellent recommendations for things to do during our visit.

One area that could be improved is the breakfast selection, as there were limited options for vegetarian meals. We ended up ordering omelettes, which were charged separately from the buffet.

Fabulous hotel

We liked absolutely everything from the location to the decor. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. We were made welcome at all times. The room was spacious and beautiful. It is a fabulous hotel and we had a wonderful time. Many thanks.

Ideal option for a one night short stay

Convenient location close to train station, modern rooms, quick check in.

It was autumn when we went and the room was quite warm and a bit stuffy - there was no ventilation besides heating (the option for air conditioning was unselectable), the hotel is adjacent to a busy street so opening the windows was quite loud and staff were only present during check in.

Clean, good location near the train station. Decent breakfast for 15 euros, with hot food options. Very nicely furnished and modern rooms. Comfortable bed.

Area is slightly seedy at night and I opted for food delivery instead of going out alone for dinner. But that’s the nature of the location and not the fault of the hotel.

Unbeatable place to stay in Bergamo

Staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The room was extremely comfortable and clean with fantastic facilities for the one night we ate in. We got to use their washing facilities which was an added perk considering we’d had a build-up during our previous stay at a camp site.

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in throughout the world.

The staff were so helpful, especially Julia. Location was perfect we were close to the bus and train station. Close and easy access to the old town and the new town. Breakfast was excellent and staff there were very happy to accommodate us. The hotel staff helped us organise trips, late check out, nothing was a problem.

Good location near the train station and bus station. Room was very clean, everything new and stylish and very comfortable beds. We received our room earlier than the standard check-in time which was very convenient as we arrived very early in the morning. Staff replied very prompt to our messages and helped us during our stay.

Overly high tech for me (no key, had to remember codes to get into building, rooms, etc.). Staff didn't understand why this would be confusing to an older person. Air conditioning switched itself off at night after staff left, even though I was assured it would work the second night. No staff on site after 10 pm to deal with such problems. I was told not to open the window, and since the room overlooked railway and road, opening a window would be noisy. Very little sleep both nights. There is no restaurant, no breakfast option. Transfer that was recommended for airport costs an extra 40 euro for the 5 kilometer ride. Didn't think it could be that much. Wish I'd taken the bus. Area a little seedy, full of men hanging around all day and evening. Didn't feel completely safe at night.

Great new hotel

Brand new hotel, very clean and comfortable. Location was near the train station, which was convenient. Free mini bar and nice balcony.

Although the location was convenient for the train station, it was about a 40 minute walk to the old town, or you could get a bus nearby. Because it was so new some of the facilities weren't open, I also think it was quite expensive for the area.

Bergamo an overlooked gem

A very modern and tasteful refurbishment of an older building. The art influenced decor was impressive and the fusion of old with new thoughtful and appropriate. However it was the warm and genuine welcome of the staff which made it paricularly memorable. Thet spoke excellent English but encouraged my faltering attempts to speak Italian. There was a generous availability of coffee, biscuits and cold drinks.

I like to start the day with breakfast but this did not appear to be available.

I stayed at AR Suites&Art with my family for only one night, seeking a nice place to stay in Bergamo before catching our flight the next morning. I was looking for the best location and a clean room with a pleasant atmosphere. Well, it exceeded my expectations! The room was perfect for a family of three, atmospherically furnished and decorated, and very clean. The helpful host gave us great recommendations on where to eat and how to get to Upper Bergamo. The next morning, it took us around 10 minutes to get to the airport (including a stop at the gas station on the way…). I highly recommend it

Everything was sublime, I don't know what to start with: size of the room, bed linens, staff incredibly helpful, quality of shampoo, towels, decorations, big flowers on reception desk, not to mention that it was a small party at lunch time for the guests of the hotel. The automatization of doors, of the lights on the halls with a diffuse light, I was really impressed. SUBLIME, i will definitely return to this hotel.
