We hope to return

The water sports were great. We did snorkeling, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, and sailing. The beds were super comfortable, the best we had in Mexico. The staff was all incredibly kind and helpful and friendly. We do not usually go to all inclusive resorts, but really enjoyed our time here.

Breakfast was great at the Mexican restaurant and we liked the Moroccan a la carte restaurant. The other food, especially lunch and dinner in the main buffet was not that good.

I enjoyed the resort but for the money not sure it's for me.

Offers an abundance of different activities to do. Great 3 beaches and pools. With all the people at this resort it never felt crowded at any of the beaches.

Found the food to be warm at best. Never seemed to be hot unless you got it right off the grill. The walking to your room for someone who has mobility issues can be an issue. they have carts to drive you around but the exhaust from the carts can be overwhelming.

Beautiful resort but not for the mobility restricted.

It is like a park, with more focus on beautiful beaches than pools. Several good a la carte restaurants.

Buffet is hit and miss. Breakfast great, lunch good, dinner meh… although one night was exceptional. Not enough shady lounge chairs on the three beaches. You have to save chairs before 7 am or you’re out of luck, and chairs.

We've been coming here for 6 years and love the resort. The beach is the best being in a bay. We love all the walking and stairs .. good exercise.

Everything was great but our flight didn't leave until 7pm and because we didn't book through West Jet but flew on West Jet they cut our bands off at 2pm and had to pay for services while everyone else carried on. It would be nice if they switched up the menus. Sometimes we take a taxi into town to eat at La Crema.

The rooms were nice we stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. The guys from entertainment were amazing made our stay wonderful!!

Beautiful beaches, snorkeling right off the beach, staff are friendly and have great work ethic. The food at the buffet had good variety. The shuttle service is great.

A la carte restaurants feel rushed and food is not great. Beach club has nice views but not worth the extra money. Lack of activities - they are scheduled to take place each day but frequently didn’t occur. Did not have a beach Vball court.

Amazing beach resort with beautiful setting and great rooms, facilities and grounds.

All around a wonderful resort. Very casual and relaxed with an amazing couple of beaches, good resaurants, great pickleball and tennis courts, nice rooms and friendly staff. The setting is also wonderful as it is not overdeveloped like some other resort areas. Lots of options for exploration and adventures in the surounding area (highly recommend a visit to river pools up in the mountains!). Also felt very safe.

Nothing ... was pretty well a perfect vacation for me. Only challege was the heat and humidity. Was quite warm on some days but this was easily fixed by jumping in one of the pools or the ocean for a swim.

I didn’t like that I called the front desk 2 day in a row for ants problem in my room and air conditioning not working properly and nicely the lady from the front desk told me that they were to send someone to take care of the problem, but never show up, then it rained very hard and the power in my room went off, so no light and no air conditioning, again I called front desk and told the problem and remind them about the ants and air conditioning. They asure that help was on the way. So we went to have dinner and came back to our room and we STILL have all the problems so my husbands went outside to look for help and saw a maintenance guy who was passing by and asked for help, so this guy helped with light, air conditioning noise and fixed the ants problem. I was very frustrated

Super nice find for a resort stay. Would definitely consider huatulco for a nice beach resort vacation

1 ) Location with 4 private beaches with one great beach for kids with smaller waves, always being able to find a nice chair with shade and table service. Never had to worry about hiding belongings 2) sport courts - great tennis courts with professional class twice a day, volleyball, basketball and futbol 3) good food hours 4) themed dance shows that were different and energetic each night - we watched some shows twice and they were still great 6) huge compound was lush and well maintained 7) lots of stairs to climb 8) Kids club with friendly teachers 8) Pools never felt too full because they were so large and the beaches were nearby 9) more Mexican tourists than American/Canadian so had more Spanish immersion compared to Puerto Vallarta 10) Easy access to La Crucecita and tours- taxi drivers and tour guides waiting at all hours in lobby 11) easy 25 min ride to airport 12) Very thorough cleaning staff for daily service

Needs something for teens like a game room. Food was solid but not for foodies. Tennis racquets we borrowed from gym had broken frames and strings so couldn’t enjoy the great courts like we wanted. Hills and stairs not very convenient for people with poor mobility to climb stairs (although we liked the stairs) Off season for snorkeling during our July visit. Water had no visibility sadly and kayaks were not available most days because of choppy water

A piece of paradise!

From the secluded hotel beach to the large and comfortable room with a balcony offering a wonderful view over the bay plus a selection of restaurants be it buffet or set menu, I honestly liked everything there. Every staff member we came in contact with was so helpful and patient. I particularly remember Cynthya in the Bellavista Restaurant, and Ivan at Reception who were both outstanding by the service they provided, and the patience and attentiveness they displayed.

Honestly I cannot think of a single thing I did not like.

Clean and confortable rooms. The beach/bay was very calm, and because they have a coral reef, we got to see many different fish swimming around us! They have a great bar selection, and the hosts will bring you peanuts to snack on. They also have great food selections in the buffet. Their gym is amazing, they have everything and it's air conditionef.

There's no pool swim up bar. They don't have food options on the beach. It's not handicap friendly. Although they have carts to transport you and a few ramps, there are still many places only accessible by walking massive stairs. There was no beach volleyball or group games.

Perfect place with the option of tranquility or activities!

The grounds are over 24 acres. There are endless amounts of gardens, fauna, cactuses, reptiles, birds and coatis roaming around. Our room was beautiful and if you didn’t feel like walking down the stairs there were shuttles on demand. The food was amazing as well. High quality restaurants with 5 a la cart restaurants. Drinks were high quality as well (not watered down). Staff were friendly and gracious if there was a language barrier. Activities galore, full size gym with fantastic air conditioning, 6 or 8 full size tennis and pickle ball courts plus basketball, volleyball or just lying in one of the hammocks. Paradise.

Very dated room with poor AC ( didn’t cool room), no hot water, coffee maker didn’t work, dirty floor, no hand soap, toilet didn’t flush properly and insect problem- cockroaches. Buffet wasn’t very hygienic.

The shuttles have to be changed to electric as they leave the gasoline stink . The rooms are a bit worn down and need some remodelation, the food at the buffets is ok .

The grounds and beaches are beautiful. We enjoyed snorkeling right off our beach. Food and service was good. The rooms are a good size and provide lots of storage.the resort feels more authentically Mexican but the room decor is dated.

The air conditioning was poor. The stairs and hill climbing are strenuous. Shuttles are an option but then you are tipping all day long.Few rooms have balconies.There wasn’t much entertainment.

An idyllic stay with wonderful people - will come again

The room was spacious and had everything we needed and more. Even though buggies were available, everything was easily accessible and we walked. We spent our time on the wonderful Mexicana beach and again was so clean and looked after, the staff were amazing and a special shout out to Firman the barman who was brilliant. In fact all of the staff made the holiday what it was, if you don't have good staff it can ruin everything - they were all amazing in whatever area they worked in. Buffet was so much better than we thought. Will def recommend and will def come back again.

The balcony could have been made a little more attractive, it was the only area that seemed a bit shabby. The specialized restaurants are a good idea but felt a little rushed between courses. The Eastern one was our least favorite, the food was not authentic at all but interior was lovely. We also ate in the Mexicana and Mediterranean which were both very nice.
