was all in all a wonderful trip. we’d defiantly revisit the resort as well as recommend to friends

the resort had amazing pools. I loved the infinity pools overlooking the beach/ocean. rooms were a good size and very clean. great shower. the food was good but I wouldn’t say great! certainly not awful and not a deal breaker by any means because the property location is amazing.

I wish the resort had an ice cream bar. the food was just good not anything amazing. the menus at the restaurants could be a bit hard. but that’s my language barrier being in a county where I don’t speak the language.

The location and beach were great.

Beautiful warm ocean, beach and gorgeous Bahia.

The staff and the food. I got sick with diarrhea for 2 days from the sushi restaurant. The only edible food was breakfast. Two men at the front desk were awful. Ignored me when I asked to speak to someone about the food poisoning. When we arrived some greasy guy tried to bombard us with promotions and led into what was a timeshare scheme. No way. They served crappy wine by the glass and if you wanted a bottle it was ROBBERY. A bottle of Whitehaven that I can get at TraderJoes for $22 US was $115 US!!! Are you kidding me. There weren’t enough pool chairs and people were running around trying to steal chairs.

Premium prices and big promises for a tired, budget-style offering

Great location. The kids club was amazing, the staff there were incredibly caring and worked really hard. The waiting staff at the restaurants also did a wonderful job.

1. On arrival one of the rooms was crawling with bugs on a counter service. It was resolved quickly but not a good start! 2. The rooms had seen better days - extractor fan not working in bathroom so everything was soaked after taking a shower, loose tiles on the floor, rusty taps, the bathroom door had a big dent in it. The TV was very old. 3. Housekeeping was patchy. Rooms were well cleaned when they remembered. I had to request that they clean the rooms twice during our stay when they still hadn’t done it by 3pm. Turndown service happened about half of the time. 4. They don’t have enough sun lingers for their guests. People are up reserving chairs from about 6am. On our first day there were no chairs by 10am, and the poolside staff, whilst sympathetic, were not terribly helpful. in fact, by 3pm we were still chairless, I watched as a massive family who had just arrived were instantly accommodated with chairs whilst we still sat waiting…probably something to do with the greasy palmed handshake I witnessed. 5. The food was diabolical.Made school dinners look gourmet.There is so much good food in Mexico and excellent, fresh ingredients, none of which we sampled in this hotel. The fruit variety offered was tiny in comparison with what we saw in the markets, and pretty tasteless too. The prepared dishes looked sloppy and completely unappetising. Yet in the cafe across the road (where we escaped one evening) we had a delightful meal.

Fantastic destination but resort needs repair.

Good location and friendly staff.

Many staff need more training. Service was inconsistent. I wouldn’t use the spa again. The property was very clean, but in need of repair. Some things seemed very new (like the curtains and bed spreads). Other things were falling apart. The mattress was a bit caved in and in need of replacement. The food was hit and miss. The sushi rolls are a miss (too much mushy rice), but the poblano soup was incredible. Anything made with Mahi Mahi was a safe bet. But anything made with beef was a bit dodgy. The taco bar at the Mexican restaurant was fantastic. The desserts at the Italian restaurant were delicious. They made an amazing Turkey dinner for all of us for Christmas and it was excellent. They should consider doing it more often as it was a highlight for us.

Beautiful location right on Bahia Tangolunda. Amazing food from different cuisines. Staff were all so lovely and go over and above. Everything was easy. Spa and hydrotherapy were amazing. All inclusive so can totally forget about money.

Shower screen could go all the way across as easy to get water on the floor. Maybe have more vegetarian choices even though we still ate well.

Huatulco 2021

The staff was amazing. I wish more people would tip as they are always very attentive! we stayed for 7 days and on our last nights they really treated us amazing! We had a special dinner at no cost! I believe they really appreciated us being so generous with tips. We tipped about $1usd per drink and we were a group of 7! Eddie was our pool side server for 2 days and we ate at El a patio a few times. Hanum, Miguel & Angel treated us amazing!

it is nothing with the property. I wish that when you check in the staff should maybe just mention that tips are appreciated as when we tipped everyone was super thankful for it.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The only thing that I liked was the service that we received for the staff at the restaurant specially Antonio Hitalde, rogelio Valle and Edgar among other waitresses. I can honestly say that they were very professional and know what good customer service is.

I was very disappointed with the customer service that I received from reservation and the front desk. They messed up my reservation. I was on my honey moon and reserved a preferred club Jr suite with Hot tub. They put me in a different room and every time that i wanted to use the preferred services I always had problems. I was told that I didn't have the preferred services. This has been the WORST hotel that I have ever stayed in. No ONE did anything to help me out. I tried talking to a supervisor and I was also DENIED of that service. the firs that that I got there they stated that they would put me in my room the next day but than they told me that they couldn't. Extremely disappointed with the service.

Una buena opción para disfrutar de Huatulco

La atención de todo el personal, la ubicación, los espacios de entretenimiento. La cena en el restaurante italiano es muy rica. El mantenimiento de los espacios es muy bueno.

Cuando realicé mi reservación tuve algunas dudas acerca de mi estancia y envié mensajes a través de Booking.com y un correo directamente al área de reservaciones y no tuve respuesta por ningún medio. Tuve que llamar directamente para resolver las dudas, durante mi llamada, pedí que no me dieran una habitación en planta baja y no consideraron mi solicitud. Podría mejorar el sazón de los alimentos del buffet (desayuno y comida). El gimnasio está muy saturado de máquinas del mismo tipo. Hay algunas áreas en remodelación, dentro de ellos un restaurante y algunas habitaciones, puede haber un poco de ruido durante todo el día.

La comida mexicana y asiático , la comodidad de las camas y almohadas , y que si estaban al pendiente las consierges de nosotros

-La actitud de Un chico de las actividades acuáticas , espere para poder registrarme al velero y al final no me pudieron acomodar los tiempos lo cual es entendible , pero una actitud poco amigable -que iban personas al área de upgrade de la playa , que no pertenecían ahí , una de ellas con un niño que no dejó de llorar y incomodó a todos los que estábamos durmiendo ahí .., deberían de vigilar más ese acceso :) -hicimos upgrade y al final no nos pudieron ofrecer en otros bares q no fuera del piso 6 bebidas de mejor calidad ( por eso pagamos el upgrade .. incluso un día nos dieron un tipo de mezcal que nos gusta en el 6 piso y al siguiente día fuimos a pedir una bebida con ese mezcal dijeron q no tenian la botella .., - sabemos q es un hotel que permite niños pero todo el tiempo había mucho ruido , incluso alado de nuestro cuarto , fuimos a ese hotel porque queríamos conocerlo pero a la próxima sin duda elegiríamos un hotel all inclusive sin niños ( ya conocíamos el secrets y camino real ) , estuviera excelente si acomodan o hay alguna sección de cuartos solo adultos ( tampoco nosotros lo solicitamos ) no nos dejaban descansar muy bien :( en la habitación

Un destino hermoso con un hotel que deja mucho que desear

Tiene una vista hermosa, una playa muy linda. Es cómodo ya que no es un hotel tan grande. Variedad de comida. Tiene un salvavidas muy pendiente de los huéspedes. El equipo de entretenimiento en la alberca muy divertido. Las habitaciones limpias. El personal en concierge excelente. Varios detalles para dar la bienvenida y hacer el check inn más amigable Los bellboys super amables y con disposición.

Un hotel viejo que necesita remodelación. Un restaurante/palapa que al entrar aves (incluso a la zona de comida) no está muy limpio. El personal del restaurante la palapa con poca actitud de servicio. El concepto todo incluido se ha deteriorado, hay pocos postres para los niños(ejemplo ofrecen helado en la zona del lobby y tienen excusas para no darlos). Hay cenas temáticas condicionadas a consumo de botellas. El día que llegamos no tuvimos opción para comer ya que cierran los restaurantes para organizar para la cena, en un all inclusive real no cierran todo sin pensar en que los huéspedes vienen del aeropuerto. Esto lo podrían organizar fácilmente considerando en qué es un destino con pocos vuelos al día. Baños comunes (lobby, albercas) sucios, los botes llenos de basura, huelen mal.
