Very nice, new hotel with mediocre food

New, clean, great location, nice staff

Food - very limited dining options. They had steam trays, but they were never more than room temperature, so most everything was not hot. Short staffed for breakfast so always a frustrating wait. Steaks for dinner inedible.

Newer hotel with a centralized location in Huatulco area. However, management need to change certain policies when it comes to accommodating hotel guests. Specifically, when trying to access the beach before 10 am via the beach club area (locked gate), I was told by security that I would need to exit the hotel property and access the beach via a public alleyway. In addition, the lunch menu was never good in comparison to breakfast and dinner - although limited. Not having room service at an all inclusive did not make any sense. Especially when you could not even take food back to a room, which in our case had a full kitchen with a fridge. The staff are who made the difference for the shortcomings of property management policies. They work incredibly hard and are true professionals. Gracias at Itzel/Magda/Francisco in the hotel restaurant. Gracias Jessica/Amado in concierge area for looking out for us when we had special requests. Gracias to Javier in the beach for providing great instruction with the kayak and paddle board!

I did not like the beach club area that was accessible to anyone that paid for a day pass. It was too crowded and the food was absolutely horrible! Property management also needs to increase staff because you cannot expect guests to have a great experience if there is only one person acting a a bartender, server, and clearing tables in the restaurant. Staff were amazing and deserving of great tips every day but management staffing decisions need to change.

We had a wonderful stay at Nirú Ocean Suites. The beachfront location is excellent, and getting around the area was easy and stress-free. Our room was clean, well maintained, and very comfortable, housekeeping consistently did a fantastic job. Every member of the staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful from check-in to check-out. Any questions we had were answered quickly and with such a positive attitude, which truly made our holiday even better. A special thank you to Amano and Jessica, who went above and beyond to help us one evening. All of our meals at the main restaurant were fantastic. The menu offered a good variety of main courses, and the buffet included plenty of side dishes if you wanted to help yourself. The beach was beautiful and one of the highlights of our stay. The Nirú beach club area never felt overcrowded. We loved how easy it was to access directly from the property, and it was the perfect spot for relaxing, swimming, and enjoying the ocean views throughout the day.

Will not be rebooking

The room was clean and comfortable, although did not like the a joining room style as I could my neighbours much too easily. Sound carried easily from neighbours between the thin door on top of the outside construction and the beach noise.

We were not able to get the entire stay of our booking as things were double booked, so we only stayed for 4 nights and had to move elsewhere. And then come our check out which was for 12:00, we brought our bags down to the front desk as we were finished in the room around 10:30, to let maids clean and be considerate. As we planned to enjoy the remainder of the time before check out at the pool until 12:00. They cut my partners wristband off while I was at the pool and came up with scissors to take my band, I was firm in saying no we will leave at 12:00 but did not enjoy being treated like a criminal. It was embarrassing. Next time I’ll leave our bags in our room until 12:00 so we can stay until check out and not consider their time since they did not consider ours and what we had paid for. They tried to sell a day pass to my partner instead of letting us finish the last hour and half of our time. They advertise it as a boutique resort- which in fact the pool club and other facilities are shared by multiple resorts in the same company. I wouldn’t consider that a boutique style, unless you just stick to the small pool and single restaurant.

Amazing stay in Huatulco

It was an absolutely amazing stay. The hotel is located on the beach in a very safe area. The staff in the hotel restaurant was amazing - very attentive and always willing to help. I would like to send a special thank you to Juan, Jose, Francisco, Ana, Itzel, Isabel who created an amazing welcoming atmosphere there. The food was good as well. And cocktails =) You can also walk to another hotel of the same chain and visit evening show there. This year a very good dancing group performs there. And we were very excited watching them. It was definitely a professional level not an amateur one. The hotel by itself is very new and modern. You can also make amazing pictures because it's located on hill near the coastline. We'll definitely return back.

Highly recommend the Niru!

The staff were sooo good- Tania, Thomas, Sylvia, Armondo - just to name a few! The food was very good - even after 3 weeks we were very happy with the menu. The view, the pool and the beach were all great!

Just a couple of suggestions - it would have been nice to have some drawers to put clothes instead of just the big 'cubby' holes in the closet. More hangers and perhaps some 'safe handles/bars' in the shower as it felt a little slippery at times.

Compartir con el club de playa y el otro hotel. Creo que debería ser exclusivo, son diferentes segmentos de mercado. Soy consultor del Distintivo H y deben cuidar más las temperaturas de los alimentos tanto frías como calientes. Evitar reciclar la comida. Dar más variedad como noches de sushi, comida international es decir una noche italiana, comida griega etc. Si van a compartir con el club de playa entonces hacer la comida aparte. No está padre no poder comer a pie de alberca los snacks. Mucho de su personal es muy amable y honrado pero otra parte tienen poca actitud de servicio y parece que si solo les das propia son amables. Necesitan un curso de calidad en el servicio. El turismo es muy importante.

La comida es muy simple, las bebidas son muy básicas y el servicio deja mucho que desear. Por más que intenten ser amables, si los meseros no hacen bien su trabajo, la experiencia se arruina. Única mención especial a Itzel, quien sí hizo bien su labor.

Lo que no gusto es que cuando quería ir a la playa a centrarme o acostarme en un camastro estaba llevo de personas que venían de otro hotel no eran de niru nunca pude estar ahí de los 10 días que estuve ahí me dio tristeza que yo buscaba relajarme y pasarla bien nunca pude ser uso de eso y obvio que el otro hotel era más barato por el tipo de personas que se miraban esperaba yo ya que niru no es barato tener ese momento accesibilidad a lo que estaba pagando y fuese más exclusivo que era lo que yo buscaba en esa parte estuve muy desesperada Niru es muy bonito y limpio y cuenta con las personas adecuadas para dar el mejor servicio pero les falta mucho para ser excelente para ser extraordinario al convinar el otro hotel no me sentí cómoda ni feliz como en mis otros viajes que pagas para es más exclusivo y ocupan mejorar los alimentos de la hora de la comida ya que cuando eres de otras parte y con un buen estatus económico es muy complicado comer sus snacks con respecto y amor agreguen ensaladas con proteína

Sehr schönes und neues Hotel. Zimmer sind groß und komfortabel.

Das All inklusive System ist leider enttäuschend. Eine geringe Auswahl und ein sehr kleines Buffet. In Summe stimmt das Preisleistungsverhältnis einfach nicht. Am letzten Abend gab es selbst das kleine Buffet nicht mehr sondern nur a la Carte. Als Beilage gab es ausschließlich Reis und Gemüse. Wer Hotels in Europa kennt in dieser Preiskategorie wird definitiv enttäuscht sein. Unsere Kinder fanden nur schwer etwas das ihnen schmeckt.
