Room is simple and a bit noisy as it is facing the street. Street light is right on my bed ( lasts all night) through the window and curtain doesn't really cover.
Bathroom is clean and lots of common place to relax. Service people is not really warm but does the job.
Overall we think it worth the money.

Well, the old adage is you get what you pay for. I paid for a private room and bathroom. Very little water flowed from the shower and it was ice cold. They gave me stiff stained towels to dry with. The ceiling paint came off and particles from the ceiling in the bathroom. The reception area has gaps in which it’s unattended so if you have a late flight between 11 PM and 12pm no one is there to receive you but then there are times throughout the day the reception area is unattended. It’s close to the Mercado 20 de Noviembre but you would need to walk 20 min to get to anything significant in Oaxaca. The kitchen facilites were okay but at times they didn’t have clean rags to wipe up. They require guests to clean up after themselves but they lack cleaning supplies to do that adequately. The stove burner is old and you have to light it yourself so you need to buy a lighter if you want to use the gas stove. It’s adequate but nothing about it stands out or would make me want to stay there again.
