Brilliant, had a fantastic holiday here!

This hotel was beautiful!! The rooms were gorgeous as was the space and pool area. The location was also great, about 5 mins walk to the centre of La punta. Would 1000% come back again!

Nice hotel but depends on what room you get

Great location with the best smoothie bowls & coffee right next door. Daily cleaning of the room was lovely and the pool area was great for relaxing.

We were in room 1 which is on the ground floor on the main road. It was very loud all night and very hard to sleep. They provide ear plugs but not much help. We also couldn't use our balcony as there was no privacy just cars and people constantly passed. Also it is right next to reception so you can hear all the other guests passing. The WiFi also did not work in the room at all. Very limited hot water in the shower. We did ask if we could swap rooms but the only other available rooms were also backing the main road. The onsite bar was never open which was a shame as we booked hoping we could have drinks by the pool. It's run separate to the hotel, supposed to open at 6pm but it never did.

Great Stay!

The property was perfect for my stay in Puerto Escondido! The room was spacious, clean and really comfortable. The location of the property was great - 10 mins walk from the Main Street and beach, but set a bit away so you don’t get all the noise. The pool was gorgeous to relax by during the day. Would definitely recommend this place!

Excellent location and a lovely property - the pool was fantastic also and a great place to relax. As well as a lovely design and great to have the hammocks!

A few small tweaks and could be the best hotel in Punta.

Great Location-- next to a brand new Michelin reviewed restaurant, a few blocks from the main road and beach. Lots of great shops, bars and restaurants close by. Dirt road across from hotel goes straight to the beach. Once paved, can really see this area being even more popular. Rooms were spacious and always kept clean by the friendly staff. Beautifully decorated, you can tell a lot of time, attention and love was put into the aesthetics. Friendly guests and all around good vibe at the property.

Part of why I booked this place was because of the rave reviews about breakfast- only to find out it is no longer offered. The staff said "Oh, those pictures must have been from a really long time ago." Coffee is still offered. Pillows on bed were really stiff and left my neck and back sore. Asked staff if they offered any decorations for the room as we were staying for my husband's birthday. At booking, staff said they had something in mind, so I expected something small would be set up, but nothing was done during our stay. Lastly, the "bar" at the hotel was not in service, they said they'd just had a party which had "wiped them out." There were a few stray beers which staff said belonged to another guest. If you're not going to offer breakfast or a bar, some kind of honor system would be nice. I've seen this done well at other Mexican hotels. It would also be nice to offer a microwave or some way for guests to prepare their own food, such as use of the small kitchen area behind the bar. Luckily there are a lot of convenient, healthy and inexpensive options around for breakfast, within walking distance.

Casa Beu is a small hotel, that is very intimate, simple and relaxing. The staff was super helpful!

Casa Beu is off the main street so there aren’t any issues with loud music or any noise. All the guests were super mindful also and it was always peaceful and relaxing. The room was minimalist, clean and spacious and had an AC and nice shower. The price quality was really good, the location was great and the hotel charming. They also provide a water fountain, so you have drinkable water at your disposal.

Great attentive staff, very clean property and good vibes. Nice area as well, close to the beach with plenty of nice restaurants and ample taxi services available to bring you to other parts of Puerto Escondido

Just a very minor thing: that the shower temperature control was rather sensitive (moving the thermostat very slightly would change hot water in cold water)

Well located, just off the main streets in Punta, which considerably lowers the party noise especially on weekends Super nice restaurants, breakfast spots around, beach is really not far Super nice staff, very clean, well organized Pools are nice and good size, good option to chill during the heat Very nice other guests as well, everyone is very respectful One of the nicest place in La Punta so far to wind down for me.

One of the best options in La Punta!

Amazing stay just a few blocks away from the beach, but in a peaceful area. Room was big, with a little balcony facing the street. We didnt have the chance to try the pool area but it looked quite comfortable, it even has a little bar/cafe next to it. Great staff!

No major complaints, but we found the pillows on our bed to be a little uncomfortable. I would suggest it's time to upgrade them.

Great little boutique hotel in a great area to stay with lovely people

- great location - very quiet, especially at night, yet only a 3-4 mins walk to the "center" of La Punta where all the restaurants / bars are - lovely staff, super nice and welcoming - great pool area and loungers - spotlessly clean & spacious rooms with a comfy bed - hot (!) water which is not always the case in MX

- as everywhere in Mexico there is construction next door, but it wasn't too noisy - the breakfast is very tasty, yet it does get a bit boring after one week since it is always the same (fruit, yoghurt, cereal, tosted bread with yam - although the selection of fruit changed every day :)) recommendations: - it would be nice to be able to hang a towel somewhere in the bathroom - don't allow smoking around the pool area as you can't escape the smell in that small space - maybe it was just my room, but the A/C didn't get cooler than 27 degrees (absolutely fine for me but maybe not for everyone) - less chlorine in the pool :)

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The interior of the hotel is tasteful and uncluttered. Rooms are spacious, with not a lot of furniture (a bed and two cupboards). I absolutely enjoyed the swimming pool and the comfy sunbeds by the swimming pool.

The shower was very uncomfortable. The shower head is placed in a very awkward position and is fixed and cannot be adjusted, so the water runs almost horizontally instead of downwards. The shower head itself was also significantly clogged.

Exceptional

Beautiful little hotel. The entire property was beautifully decorated. The pool area was well maintained and very refreshing for hot days. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, plus there was an additional fan. Breakfast was simple but great - it included coffee, fruit (with honey, yogurt and granola) and toast (with butter and jam). The staff was really friendly and welcoming. The hotel is conveniently located in La Punta, although it is surrounded by hills so a scooter or ATV is recommended.

I don't think the property has hot water - we didn't ask, so maybe we just weren't doing it right. But I think this is a common thing in the La Punta area (our other hotel didn't have hot water either).
