Beautifully designed rooms

Beautiful design of the rooms, comfortable bed and very friendly staff.

We rented a room twice here, the second time the shower didn’t get warm. The room doesn’t have glass in the windows but wooden shutters which personally I loved but just as a recommendation if you’re a light sleeper be aware that some roosters, dog or builder noises may wake you up.

Well designed property with comfortable rooms, close to all the action but also tucked away, very friendly staff

The noice levels-l suggest providing ear plugs and also glass doors for the balcony to mitigate this. Additionally providing basic facilities like filtered water, tea/coffee provisions in each room, shower gel, body lotion given the price point.

Great location, really liked the room design and the ocean view from the balcony. Comfortable common area. Very friendly and helpful staff.

It’s located on a rather noisy street, so sleeping isn’t always comfortable. The room doesn’t have enough light, and there’s none at all in the shower. If you need to do your makeup, shaving or something similar, it’s only possible during the day.

Beautiful design & exceptionally friendly staff

Really beautifully designed hotel with nice, shady yard and clean rooms, beautiful rooftop views, and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend!

Only downside is the noise at night - traffic is incredibly loud for some reason and our room was facing the street, therefore needed earplugs.

This place is an absolute work of art. Guessing the owner and the designer are one in the same given the level of attention given to the smallest of design details, very impressed. Excellent location and beautiful views from both the room deck and the private rooftop deck above the room. Cool little bar/reception and very friendly and helpful staff.

It’s a nice place to stay at Zicatela but I would look at other options next time.

Very nice design hotel (inside and outside), a cool pool with a roof, a comfortable room with a nice bed and balcony. The best is the people running the hotel, they are very kind, help full and attentive.

The rooms are small, it was basically a micro studio. The bathroom is inside the room and is only isolated by very thin wooden boards and that was uncomfortable and seemed cheap. Another thing the hot water in the shower never actually got warm and the AC never really cooled down the room adequately because the windows have no isolation so if you turned of the AC the room would not stay chill. Regarding the hotel itself there is basically no food service besides drinks, and that is sometimes necessary.

The design was of the hotel was beautiful

It lacked functionality. The lights were too dim to be able to see and the lack of glass window ( it was a wooden shutter - beautiful in concept if you’re at a place that has zero traffic and insects). The hotel is at a high traffic area so the motorcycle and truck noises along with petrol fumes weren’t too relaxing at night. It did die down around 1ish so if you’re out all night this would be fine. Also WiFi was almost nonexistent. C

Cama deliciosa y diseño original

Es un lugar muy lindo, super cómoda cama, buen diseño, las fuentes en la zona común son un puntazo. Lo malo es que puerto está en un momento de ultra desarrollo y tienes obras por todos lados. Nuestra habitación justo daba a una obra, entonces no diría que es un lugar al que vas a descansar en este momento. La calle es muy ruidosa también.

Simply a gem of hotel

This hotel is simply a gem. It is built like a castle with an old-world atmosphere, yet the facilities are modern and high-quality. The hotel staff is truly wonderful—very attentive and always doing everything with a smile. Xochi, Cesar, and Brisa — you are amazing. The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the center of La Punta, close to bars and restaurants, and within walking distance to La Punta surf beach. The room is spacious, and the bed is very comfortable. It's wonderful that the shower is open-air under the sky, and the view from the balcony is the cherry on top. We will definitely return again. Este hotel es simplemente una joya. Está construido como un castillo, con un ambiente de época, pero al mismo tiempo con instalaciones modernas y de alta calidad. El personal del hotel es realmente maravilloso, muy atento y siempre haciendo todo con una sonrisa. Xochi, César y Brisa, son increíbles. El hotel tiene una ubicación excelente, justo en el centro de La Punta, cerca de bares y restaurantes, y a poca distancia caminando de la playa de surf La Punta. Sin duda volveremos otra vez.

Pra quem ama arquitetura é o lugar certo

Eu reservei por causa da arquitetura e realmente era tudo incrível, belíssimo , os detalhes na porta da varanda, a luz baixa e indireta, a arquitetura é perfeita!

Apesar de me ser informado que a água esquentaria após um tempo aberta, nas duas primeiras noites ela não aqueceu, como é uma cidade quente não foi um sofrimento tomar banho com a água em temperatura ambiente, mas no inverno não sei se seria agradável. Um outro fator que não gostamos foi o barulho durante a noite e madrugada, não tem como o hotel decidir quem passa ou não durante a noite mas ficamos no primeiro andar e dava pra escutar todos os carros, caminhões e até carroças, que passavam para quem tem um sono leve ou que não consegue dormir com barulho não é uma boa opção. Nós amamos o hotel e relevamos o barulho mas é um alerta para quem tem sono leve. Um outro ponto é que pelo valor poderia ter café da manhã iria elevar a experiência, mas só se o valor permanecesse o mesmo se aumentasse o valor da diária para ter café da manhã acho que não valeria a pena.

Unas vacaciones perfectas para relajarse y conocer los mejores lugares de puerto

El hotel es muy bonito, el cuarto donde nos quedamos tiene una terraza muy grande con vista al mar ideal para descansar un rato ahí o ver el atardecer. Los cuartos son de muy buen tamaño con camas cómodas y aire acondicionado. La alberca del hotel es mitad techada ideal para cuando está el sol durísimo. La ubicación es ideal estando a 3min caminando de la playa y de la calle principal com todos los restaurantes y bares. Por último, el staff siempre tiene la mejor actitud y te ayudan en todo lo que necesitas! El mejor hotel de puerto escondido!!!

El lugar muy lindo (diseño), atención de primera, la habitación cuenta con todo lo necesario (no le pide nada a grandes cadenas), la ubicación es buena.

La habitación que me tocó daba hacia la calle y en la madrugada mucho ruido de los autos que pasan, enfrente hay un terreno en el que tienen animales que también son algo ruidosos.

Repito: NO HAY VENTANAS!!!! El ruido es una PESADILLA. Le debería dar vergüenza al dueño de este hotel estafar así a la gente. Encima luego la ventilación de la ducha y el "baño" (que ni si quiera es un baño porque no hay paredes) es malísima, entran mosquitos... en fin, de verdad hagan caso a los reviews negativos que hay en las webs (booking, Google...) y NO VAYAN A ESTE HOTEL.

Ein schmucker Traum aus Architektur und Design. Ein grandioser Innenhof mit Pool lädt zum Verweilen währen der heissen Stunden des Tages ein und bietet viel Schatten. Die Zimmer sind gross und schön minimalistisch eingerichtet. Dazu konnten die Strandliegen des Schwesterhotels kostenlos Mitebnutzt werden was ein grosses Plus ist.

Da die Fenster offen sind und kein Glas haben, hört man die Umgebung in der Nacht sehr gut. Es fühlt sich an wie draussen zu schlafen. Dies sollte einem bewusst sein.
