The room was comfortable and well appointed. The reception staff were most helpful and the atmosphere was good.

It was an excellent break in a city of real culture and character.

The breakfast was of very good variety and plentiful. The location was ok given our plans for the holiday and the room was suitable.

More hooks in the bedroom to hang coats and more storage space for clothes. This required us to be always having to open suitcases and luggage bags to extract clothes.

Disappointing and too expensive. There were better hotels with parking.

Room was quiet.

The room was small, had no view. The hotel had parking (one of the reasons for booking) but it turns out only 5 spaces. We had to pay £12 for parking close to the hotel (and it was busy). Not only was the cost £460 for 1 night, we had to pay Euro 40 for our dogs. The room air con wasn't working. The room was very small. It had no fridge, no tea and no milk. The hotel was not worth that amount of money at all. The only thing worth going to it was that it was on the seafront and we didnt even get a sea view. Very disappointed tbf.

slight meanness in the hospitality offering ie only 2 tea and coffee sachets, a little packet of biscuits would have been welcome, also the width of the single beds was small.

Perfect stay

Staff was fantastic, loved the breakfast, many choices and quality stuff on offer. Location is just great and the big spring tides gave everyone quite a show, just in front of the hotel. Awesome stay all around and great value for the price.

The sauna was welcome as it was very windy and cold ourside and the general atmosphere was laid back. Good location so close to the beach and old town. We appreciated the room upgrade to a room with a side view to the sea.

Nothing of notice, there was some air conditioning leakage however is was reported and didn’t impact negatively on our stay.

Good deal

The location is perfect with only a 50 m walk to the beach and a little longer stroll to the historical town with all the best food and drink.

The breakfast was a little worse with a regular supermarket chain croissant and chocolate bun. Everything else was more than ok and the selection of cheese was exquisite. All local produce as well.

Excellent experience at Mercure Front de Mer

The location was excellent, close to the main tourist area. The room was very clean and quiet. We chose to have a breakfast "express" which was very good, served to the table. The reception was very attentive and professional. The hotel has a secured parking which was very convenient. Restaurants and cafés nearby. I strongly recommend this hotel.

the room is large and comfortable. the location is great within walking minutes from the intramuros centre.

i am used to have a fridge in all mercure hotels but there wasn’t in this one and that’s what missing.

Friendly and effcient receptionist, very clean, convenient location for ST Malo city and ferry.

There was no cleaning service available for 2 night stays, told on arrival, would not have stayed there if we knew this. Unacceptable!!
