Parking was nearby and the location of the hotel simply couldn't be better. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were perfectly clean.

Superb position on the promenade a stones throw from St Malo. We had room in the loft which was spacious and had a bath and shower - bonus!

OK but pricey.

Helpful staff - we arrived during a heatwave and the basic “courtyard room” was tiny and extremely hot, but receptionist upgraded us to a more suitable room for a modest supplement. Excellent beachside location.

No aircon or electric fans available, tho’ the receptionist did offer to lend us hers! Parking on site very limited - on road parking is free and unrestricted but it’s pure luck whether you find a spot nearby.

Comfortable overnight stay but be prepared for possibility of small room and lack of parking.

The bed was very comfortable and the dinner was very tasty. The shower was spacious. Lots of hot water. Pleasant 25 minute walk into the old town.

The lack of spaces for parking. The smallness of the room- unable to open the bathroom door fully due to the bed and difficult to walk around the bed without knocking into the television .

We highly recommend this hotel for all visitors to the region.

As expected, cleanliness, Seaview, breakfast, large room, al was good and as expected. Location is at a pleasant walk distance of around 20mn to the old city and at about 1 hour drive to the famous tourist attraction site Mt St Michel. (it might be irrelevant to right it here but attention, strongly recommending visitors to avoid public holidays for trip to Mt. St. Michel, roads are congested, site is extremely overcrowded. It was not the fault of the hotel of course.) We were happy to stay, and we would recommend to others. If we had stayed another night, we would for sure try the restaurant and we feel that it would also be highly satisfactory (we had observed happy guests when we had arrived, but we had preferred to explore a different place at the old city)

Nothing, we like it all... Only 2 remarks for potential guests : Parking place is is tight, we were lucky to use the last available slot. However, we cannot blame the hotel because we already had a pre-advice from the hotel on what to expect. The room was without balcony because we had asked "upper floor" without mentioning our "balcony preference". Again, we cannot blame the hotel, but we would recommend visitors to mention it if "balcony" is a preference for them.

I recommend this place wholeheartedly.

I liked the room, the location and the friendliness and professionalism of the receptionist: we muddled along between us with my rusty French and she helped me along with a few words of English! The room was tastefully decorated and felt very calming and had everything I needed for a couple of nights' stay. The bathroom was clean and the shower powerful and hot. The highlight was of course the sea view. I treated myself to this room even though it was expensive and felt it was worth every penny to see the sea roll in and out each night and morning. It was very special to watch the waves rolling over the edge of the pavement so close to the hotel whilst having breakfast. I had no idea beforehand that the tidal range was so extensive in St Malo so booking so this was a real bonus.

Nothing that I disliked. The room was a bit hot but there was a thermostat to control the temperature which I only noticed the next day and so adjusted for the second night. Breakfast was lovely, especially the homemade salted caramel sauce and the pancakes. I would've liked more coffee but couldn't seem to catch the waiter's eye but it was fine anyway as too much coffee is a bad thing. I wished the people at the next table weren't messing around with the tables so that they could sit together as it messed with my peace but that's just me being a grumpy old woman! I would've liked to have tasted the dinner menu but felt too intimidated to partake (as a single person) and wasn't sure if there would've been room for me anyway or if room service would've been available (but I could've asked). Maybe next time if I return with my partner!

Fantastic view close to city with beach direct access to beach.

The location is fantastic. There is car parking for guests at a very reasonable rate. The room was a sea view with a balcony which again was fantastic. We had a very pleasant stay almost tempted to hook another night to enjoy the sun and beach.

The communal hallways look a little tired however a very small negative in an overall very positive experiences

Schönes Hotel direkt am Strand

Sehr schönes Hotel direkt an der Strandpromenade. Zu Fuß sind es ca. 15 min. in die Altstadt Intra Muros. Das Frühstück ist einfach, aber sehr lecker und frisch. Wir waren zweimal im Restaurant abends essen, sehr lecker! Bei schönem Wetter kann man gut auf der Terrasse sitzen, alternativ im Restaurant oder Wintergarten. Personal immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick, sehr zu empfehlen! Schöner sauberer Strand!

Déception est un faible mot.

L'emplacement et la déco du restaurant.

Énorme problème, rédhibitoire pour un hôtel : impossible de dormir ! Belle journée d'été, 27°. Il fait une chaleur insoutenable dans la petite chambre, aucune climatisation, on ouvre donc la (seule) fenêtre "sur cour" qui donne sur le parking et les poubelles. Première impression : ça sent le graillon des restaus à l'entoure. Bruits et odeurs toute la nuit, et cette chaleur qui persiste malgré la fraîcheur de la nuit bretonne au dehors. C'est mort, on ne dormira pas. Le lendemain, la température extérieure est tombée et pourtant il fait toujours aussi chaud dedans. On a aéré pendant plusieurs heures avant de se coucher fenêtre fermée. Mais surprise, ça sent encore la friture. Et tout particulièrement dans la salle de bain, là où est la seule aération. On ferme donc la porte pour être sûr. Et là, plus aucun doute, c'est bien de la ventilation de la SDB que vient l'odeur. Doit on conclure que l'aération a été branchée sur le désenfumage des cuisines, qu'on a bien localisées juste en dessous de notre chambre ? Si c'est le cas, c'est tout simplement un motif de fermeture administrative. Pour un hôtel ***, proposer une chambre qui "chauffe" et qui sent, à ce prix là, c'est franchement inadmissible !

Vista sul mare veramente da togliere il fiato. Buona la colazione e il ristorante. Zona non molto lontana dal centro ma tranquilla. La vista mare e la spiaggia.

Gut aufgehoben die Gezeiten beobachten...

Die außerordentlich schöne Lage, direkt am Meer, ohne eine Autostrasse vorne dran. Es lohnt sich das teurere Zimmer zu nehmen! St. Malo in 25 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Frühstück bot alles Nötige, sogar Haferflocken... Das im gleichen Gebäude sich befindende Restaurant bietet sehr gute gehobene Küche. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
