Unique maritime themed hotel with nicest staff

We loved Nicolas at reception, how can a member of staff be so welcoming, responsive, ready to help and to chat, I camt understand. The interior is very unique and will be remembered. The location is just super central overlooking harbour.

Please be ready for really tiny spaces - elevator is claustrophobic and is meant for one person standing and touching walls from both sides. Room itself is tiny too, breakfast room makes you really intimate with your neighbours from the next table.

Historical experience.

Excelleng location! Just in the historical old town. Beautiful surroundings. The staff Peter is extremely friendly even when I reach there in the midnight. When I check out he even cooked a coffee for me! The bed is so comfortable.

The room is very small. The table is quite difficult to use for work. There is a bar nearby and it was very noisy because many young people make party in the night.

Amazing stay and thank you to all the staff

I stayed for a night visiting from Jersey. It was very close to the harbor and very easy to find. Staff were extremely helpful with directions and tips on things to do.

The only downside is that there was no kettle facilities in the room

The friendliest hotel ever in an amazing historic place.

Staff were exceptionally nice! Location was very central and historic feeling. Parking was easy and nearby and free from 8pm to 9am. Easy for the ferry. A short walk to lots of nice places to eat and drink. Comfy bed.

There was some noise of partying outside until about midnight but it is a central location so nothing the hotel can do about that! The room was small but clean and comfy. Some fresh baguettes or a toaster for the sliced bread at breakfast would be nice.

Upgraded room turned out to be a downgrade! Why were we conned by Booking.com to see if we could upgrade, when it appears we had an enviable view of the city and more secure room?

Great stay just within the walls of St. Malo

We enjoyed our stay at the Ibis. The location was convenient, particularly if you have a rental car parked just outside the city walls. It's in a cool old building, and the room was clean and comfortable. The shower was amazing, and the staff members were friendly. Breakfast was good. Would recommend!
