Disappointing

We had reserved an apartment for 4 (we are a family of 5) as my 16yr old son was due to fly back to the UK, his return trip was cancelled at short notice. I asked if he could stay in the apartment with us, he was happy to stay on the floor (we were only staying one night) and there was lots of room. The hotel refused and insisted we book a further room at 150 Euros. We had dealt with the exact same issue the night before in Saumur and on this occasion the hotel could not have been more accommodating. A disappointing experience to end a holiday with, all about the money.

Staff gave recommendations for car parking away from hotel. We could lock the bicycles in the car park.

Enjoyable break at the heart of St Malo - assume there is no parking available

The apartment is in an excellent location at the heart of St Malo within the walled town. You have a balcony which allows you to both listen and watch the busy activity in this vibrant town. St Malo is surrounded by beaches so the apartment is a five minute walk from one of the beaches and close to a multitude of restaurants and some really excellent creperies. We slept in the very comfortable room with the en-suite and our children shared the double sofa-bed in the main dining room. Both options were very comfortable and the bathroom/shower was excellent.

Wifi is very weak and with three of us trying to access it at the same time it became extremely slow. There are three flights of stairs to climb and no lift that we could see, therefore if you’re physically disabled in any way this accommodation might be a struggle for you. The apartment is clean and well organised with good facilities, but ideally could be a little larger. It might be a struggle for four adults needing to use the sofa bed. Parking is offered for the right-sized cars (small - smaller than an SUV) subject to availability - however we arrived for the check-in time of 2:30pm, but were advised there was no parking available. In this very busy town best to assume there will not be parking available at the accommodation and look elsewhere. Just outside the walls parking is 18€ for 24 hours.

The location was excellent and the breakfast was really good! Our apartment was spacious and well equipped.

There was no lift and we were on the third floor with two small children. This would unfortunately put us off staying here again.

Location is good but not worth the dirty room.

The room was dirty, the floor was disgusting. We told the reception and he didn’t want to know and didn’t help in anyway. Very expensive for somewhere we then had to clean on arrival. Unfortunately nowhere else had availability for a family of four otherwise I would have stayed somewhere else.

Très bon emplacement. Seul point positif que nous retiendrons.

L’odeur de gras dans les escaliers et dans la cour intérieure est difficilement supportable … impossible d’ouvrir la fenêtre la nuit pour rafraîchir la chambre, les odeurs des cuisines et poubelles des deux restaurants du dessous sont trop fortes. Nettoyage fait « à la va-vite » avant notre arrivée, je passerai sur l’état des sanitaires … Quand le lendemain matin nous en avons parlé à l’accueil, on nous a mis face à face avec la personne qui s’était occupée de préparer l’appartement, pas très professionnel de la part de la réceptionniste.

Un endroit parfait pour un séjour malouin...

Situation parfaite au cœur de la cité de Saint-Malo. L'appartement est très lumineux, très confortable avec même le luxe de deux WC ce qui est appréciable quand on est au moins trois. L'équipement est très complet et les lits (y compris le convertible) vraiment confortables. Un endroit tout à fait adapté à un séjour malouin.

C'est un peu excessif de dire que ça n'a pas été apprécié mais disons que ça aurait été agréable de se sentir légèrement plus attendus dans l'appartement. Mettre un peu de sachets de thé ou de café à disposition, c'est tellement agréable quand on arrive tard le soir par exemple. Là, rien à dire sur l'aspect contractuel parfaitement respecté mais un soupçon de chaleur en plus serait bienvenu... Ca doit pouvoir se régler sans difficulté ! Autre détail : VMC un peu bruyante...

Appartamento ampio e luminoso. Arredo recente e di buon gusto. Pulizia impeccabile. Letto comodo e stanza silenziosa nonostante la posizione centrale.

Non vi è l’ascensore e nel nostro caso abbiamo dovuto cercar parcheggio all’esterno delle mura, nonostante alla fine ci sia convenuto rispetto a quello offerto dalla struttura che non era disponibile
