Friendliness and no nonsense
the stairs ! I had to carry my two heavy suitcases as there is no elevator in this elderly townhouse

Cheap. And had a bathroom within the room booked.
Cheap and close to the harbour, but closer to the train station.

The hotel is clean and the host is friendly and welcoming. A basic room but it had a cosy bed and was clean. A pleasant short walk into the main town and just one street away from some nice bars and restaurants
The stairs to the top floor are extremely narrow and quite steep so bringing things up was difficult. The room layout was strange so storage was difficult.

The room was small but clean
Steep spiral stairs, noise from car park opposite, although this was conivente for parking. Due to no air conditioning it was necessary to have the window open all night, therefore the mosquito appeared. Shower holder needed replacing.

The hotel is sited near the ferry port, it is also a comfortable walk to the City.
But Annick was a star, helpful and efficient with service, particularly helpful for my wife, who is gluten intolerant.
Room small, but ok for one night

The apartments are very clean. They are basic but well maintained. Ours was a large corner room. The staff are very nice. There is a car park outside that is very cheap 0.5€ an hour and free over night - I think we paid 3.5€ for a ticket that was 12 hours (until 10am). The walk into Saint Malo is very doable if you can walk 20 mins.
There is no air con (we knew this) but there are also no fans in the room.

So welcoming, friendly and helpful. It’s a proper hotel, where they care about the important things. I loved my room and the decor, and it was super clean and peaceful. Thanks so much for my stay. Will be recommending.

Location ideal for visiting city and / or early cross channel ferry. Breakfast is adequate and can be adjusted to personal taste (large coffees for instance). Large choice of restaurants just around the corner.
The view from my room was of the wall of an adjacent building but I am aware that there are many rooms with much better views. I did, after all, have a discounted room.

It wasn't luxurious, space is very limited in the room.

Good value for money. Only 10 minutes walk to the walled town. Beach only 5 minutes. Restaurants nearby

Good breakfast with fresh bread. Excellent location near the walled part of city and good restaurants & groceries.
Breakfast could have included some cheese, meats, or eggs.

My bed was a bit tilted, but overall good

Clean room. Friendly and easy check-in and out. Breakfast was very good value. I was travelling for work and needed t catch the train in the morning, so the location is ideally situated as close to train station as possible.
No major problems, but the way the bathroom is laid out meant that there toilet is squashed in. Not great for a slightly taller person.

Very narrow stairs that made difficult to take the luggage to the 2nd floor. Bathroom sink was cracked, and may pose a danger to children if breaks. Acars in the pillows and all over the room, mattresses were curved down in the middle.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and quiet. Continental breakfast was very good. Ker Annick is very well-placed for getting to the nearby rail station and there are a number of food outlets just around the corner for lunch or dinner.
The stairs to the rooms, but I was aware when I booked that this property did not have a lift, so not a surprise. Gave me a work-out without having to go to the gym :)

Comfy bed, location, kind staff
3.0 / 10.0
Good location and staff were quite friendly. They also allowed me to leave my suitcase in a side room.
The place was generally in poor condition a very dated. There was a huge dog blocking the way in and there was an overwhelming smell of some kind of air freshener - perhaps attempt to cover up the smell of the dog or the damp odor. All the fittings were very cheap and dated and there was no kettle or tea/coffee in the room. For 90 euros I’d expect better. Def won’t stay again.

ideally located near the trajn station at a good price with a decent sized bathroom. And a beautiful black Newfoundland dog!
its a smallish room but for a night or two that is fine. Also walls are fairly thin which may bother some
