Enjoyable stay for a winter concert in St Malo

Clean, modern bathroom, great location with parking (for a fee obviouslt).

Room was modern and clean. Especially having a shelf for personal belongings in the bathroom. The bed was a bit hard , the impermeable layer on the mattress was noisy, made me hot in the night and I therefore found it difficult to sleep. The breakfast was good, in particular the server was very helpful and took pride in her work. It was nice to have a bar for a beer when we arrived and we found the video and photo album of high tide effects interesting particularly as the waves were already overtopping the sea wall when we arrived.

Lovely start to our bike tour

The staff were really nice and helpful. We were able to store our bikes securely. The hotel is right on the beach and a little walk from the old town.

Lovely views out across the bay and walkable to the old town citadel. Great breakfast selection Less than 10 min drive to ferry port made crossing to UK in the morning stress free.

Great stopover

Good location, perfect for catching ferry next morning. Staff all very pleasant & friendly. Room was a little warm but had an opening window. Good size shower & comfy bed. All very clean.

Lovely except for dealing with the heat. We would only stay again during cooler months or with AC.

Beautiful location helped us make the most of the glorious St Malo beaches. We had a room with a sea view and could listen to the tides when relaxing in the room in the mornings/evenings. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the water pressure/temperature in the shower were both very good.

There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which was a disappointment. The biggest problem with the room is the lack of any air conditioning or even fans. It was hot & humid but bearable for our entire duration except for day three when the temperature spiked up to 34 degrees Celsius. That evening was a brutal nights sleep, and we were continuously tossing and turning soaked in sweat even with the window cracked open (which the hotel advises you not to do, due to the seagulls).

Lovely views, close to City of St Malo, but tiny rooms, and no aircon.

The room was minute, with no air conditioning, we had to leave the windows open all night despite the noise outside. And it was expensive for what we got.

The staff were brilliant in particular the girl who checked us in and the night receptionist. (Sorry didn’t get names) also breakfast staff and housekeeping. Never met people so friendly who actually looked like they enjoyed their jobs and a sense that they all get along together as well

We stayed in the worst room of a possbily a nice otel.

We paid more than 400 euros for 2 nights for an İbis Otel, assuming we will have a room with a view. While we were checking we saw the list price was equal or even lower then what we paid and we stayed at the smallest room we ever stayed ever in our lives. With 3 people, we had to leave the window o*en to be able to have enpugh air for 3.

Excellent hotel with sea view

The location is perfect: the walls and the city centre are easily within walking distance, and watching and listening to the sea from the hotel windows, especially when the tides are high, is wonderful. Breakfast is good, with diverse options.

Some small inconveniences: no paper tissues in the bathroom and not much space where I could put my clothes or my luggage.

Poor customer service

Room was clean and the location was brilliant, very easy access to a lovely beach

Heater in the room was stuck on, meaning we had to open all of the windows with 2 small kids. I complained to reception who just told me that the aircon was not turned on and refused to even look at the heater. Really awful customer service and made it very difficult for us to get the kids to sleep in a very hot room

Beautiful hotel - historic and modern at the same time

The location was gorgeous - right on the water .. and within walking distance of Intra Muros.

The hotel website said parking was available. It was only in the very fine print that it mentioned that one had to reserve parking. We arrived only to find we had nowhere to put our car. Fortunately, there was street parking in front of the hotel, but it was very nerve-wracking leaving a rental car on the street overnight... The reservation process should make the parking situation much more clear.

Very small room. Phoned on arrival at the car park, as requested. No reply. Had to walk around the block to get the code for the car park - given wrong code. Finally let in by another guest.

A super location , right on the beach ! A truly awesome breakfast choices with excellent coffee. The hotel was just 10 mins walk from the historic city. All the staff were friendly and efficient.

The room was a little restricted with the bed dominating and I would prefer a bigger bed . No air con in the room so we used the fan. Not perfect but good value for money

A nice surprise that a 3 star hotel can offer this level of quality

Excellent overall, great staff, location, conditions.

All superb except that the radiator stopped working, a switch problem but staff was kind and provided a mobile heater.
