Hôtel Le Nautilus

The service from Edward was exceptional.

The Staff were very friendly and helpful and the owner was a lovely guy. The bed was enormous and it must've been one hell of a job to get it up the stairs and into the room. Breakfast was unusual and was served. Location - once we got there - was very handy.

Actually getting to the hotel by car proved impossible though, as it transpired, my car wouldn't have fitted into the garage. The tiny lift may prove problematical for the larger person. The room - as advertised -was small and mostly filled by a huge bed. There was no Aircon (though the owner did mention he could help if we were too warm - a fan?) though being 4 floors up, we had the windows open.

Perfectly located within the old town, but on a quiet side street. All staff at the hotel was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The historic building has been beautifully modernized and the small rooms have been masterfully arranged. Also, the beds and sheets were dreamy.

The blinds block some light, but they are are not full black-out blinds. We still slept fantastically, though.

Great hosts, lovely welcome and hospitality. Extremely helpful. Central location Intra Muros. Secure parking for our motorcycles. Laundry facility provided on request which was a great help to us.

Unfortunately no air conditioning but it is an old building and it was unusually hot at the time of our stay.
