A very well positioned hotel, in a bustling part of town, but without being noisy.

There was a good choice at the breakfast buffet. Food was attractively presented. Staff were attentive.

The bathroom door broke, we were unable to open it. However, the problem was quickly and efficiently dealt with.

Perfect getaway to chase the end of summer sun in a beautiful city.

The hotel staff were so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very nicely done with lots of options. Location was excellent - felt llike we were in the centre of the old town.

The pipes / plumbing can be noisy (when someone flushes the toilet in another room) but to be expected with old buildings!

A great base to explore Saint-Malo

All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The range of food at breakfast was comprehensive and delicious. The rooms were quiet, despite the central town location.

The air conditioning was a little noisy on the first night and didn't work on the second. At breakfast, I would have loved some sliced tomatoes (French tomatoes are delicious!), and I would have liked toasted bread.

The staff are really lovely, the hotel has a nice interior and it's in a perfect, central location. Good buffet breakfast included.

Unfortunately nowhere to park and no parking validation on nearby parking lots. It cost almost €50 to park the car for the night.

Overall a fantastic place to stay.

Great location within the walls. Breakfast was appreciated and the selection included eggs and bacon. The staff were helpful and friendly. Air conditioning was excellent especially at night as it allowed us to sleep really well.

Our room was small however you get what you pay for.We would have appreciated at least one more bin.

The breakfast was superb.

Arriving at nearly midnight due to a delayed ferry from Jersey we found the hotel doors locked and nobody on reception. After banging on the door we got in. I didn't see a bell.

Good for an easy stay in St Malo

Centre of St Malo - very helpful staff. Walking distance (20 minutes) from Ferry Terminal which is good if your DFDS Ferry arrives late, late at night and there are no taxis 😩 Good thing it wasn’t raining. 30 minutes walk to the train station.

In the heart of the ancient city.

You cannot beat this place for location in the middle of the medieval street market shops in St Malo.

Hard to get to by road, many streets closed for summer so Sat Nav did not help. It is a bit stressful driving down the narrow crowed streets, squeezing between restaurant patrons seated on chairs on the sidewalk/road and pedestrian shoppers.

Exceptional service

We always stay here when we are in St Malo. On this particular trip, they went out of their way to start breakfast at 5:30am (90 minutes earlier than usual) so that those of us on the early ferry could eat before leaving. Exceptional service.

Central, clean modern

The room had a lovely view, was spacious and a comfortable bed. Parking is in a main car park around a 5 min flat walk away.

Due to the central location it was quite noisey early in the morning with road sweepers etc. there wasn’t any milk in our room only two sachets of coffee but we were able to ask for more. There’s no bar to get a drink. We weren’t told how to access to building after reception closed so we were stood outside for a while until a porter saw us and showed us how to access via a side door.

Nice hotel with a nice breakfast in a convenient location for the conference center. Loved the bio yogurt and overall wibe.

Only one issue persisted - the sheets and towels were occasionally not very clean, mine had orange and black stains several times.

The hotel was in the old part of St Malo. It was in walking distance of everything we wanted to visit. We had a basic room which did not have a lot of room to move around in, but was fine for us. The breakfast was good.

Disappointed with room allocation

Location of hotel is perfect to explore St Malo. Room clean & the breakfast is lovely. About a 15 min walk from the ferry terminal.

Disappointed with the room we were allocated due to hotel refurbishment & change of name & description of rooms. I booked our room back in December 2022 for a Superior Room, this apparently has now become a Privilege Room. The room we were allocated was on the 5th floor with windows so high I couldn't see out & was not the Superior Room we were expecting. We were then moved to a double room on the 4th floor as this was the only other room available & with windows we were able to see out of. Although this room was clean it was not the room I had booked & paid for.
