The location in Saint Malo is perfect, the building itself is steeped in history and is a beautiful venue. Our room was lovely and the view as spectacular. The bed and ensuite bath were roomy and comfortable.
The breakfast was extremely disappointing particularly for the cost;16 Euros per person and it was barely a continental breakfast. Throughout our vacation in Europe we have had many splendid breakfasts, which were often included in the cost our stay. Unfortunately, the buffet here had very few options to choose from; the hot breakfast was lukewarm, and the state of the dining room was abysmal, i.e. inadequate place settings/utensils for the crowd of guests, as well as dirty dishes left on tables. For such a lovely location and venue I am sad to report this.

Perfect location for seeing st. Malo and for travelling onwards by train or boat. Sea view from bedroom. Lounge and dining area beautifully appointed.

Great location and amazing views from the hotel. Reception staff very helpful and friendly.
Our room was not cleaned or serviced properly each day. Nespresso pods and toiletries not replenished once during our 4 night stay. Our bed was not made on one occasion - just the covers pulled up. The room had a lot of dead flies that were not cleaned up. Breakfast was disappointing, food not replenished - once it was gone, there was no more! Staff in the breakfast room were also miserable and unhelpful on every occasion.
