Very close to the ferry port and the French house

There wasn’t any decent larger, and not a very good choice of an evening meal

Great stay in St Malo

Great location and easy access to all attractions

Paper cups in room and bathroom disappointing and cannot reuse (became soggy) and lack of tea options (2 tea bags inly)

St Malo for a short stay, this is a wonderful way to spend it, even if the weather is not great..

proximity to town and beach. View amazing from beachside rooms. Staff friendly and flexible, change our room with ease. The pool and hammam are great, especially on windy, wet days. The breakfast is all you would expect from a buffet.

Beachside rooms are pricey, but to be expected.

Great stay

Fabulous view of the beach at St Malo. Great facilities. Rituals bath and body gels was a great touch. Staff were very pleasant. A brisk walk across the promenade to enter Intro Muros. We prefer to stay out of the Muros as it can be quite noisy and this is so close it really fits the bill.

Lovely beachfront hotel steps away from old town

Dennis was very helpful when our shower needed attention and helped to schedule a taxi for us. The prestige rooms are pricey, but the view from the balcony and watching the tide coming in and out is wonderful. Intramuros (walled village) is very close by

Lovely sea view , but disappointing facilities

Great sea view , nice room

Before arrival, I emailed to reserve a car park space as our car was full of luggage ahead of our ferry trip. I was told reservations weren’t possible, but on check-in at 3pm we were informed the car park was already full. This left us with no choice but to park overnight in a public car park down the road. One of the key reasons we chose your hotel was the advertised secure parking, so this was a real disappointment. In addition, I was surprised at the lack of food options. With no restaurant available, the only alternative was room service in the bar, which was both very limited and expensive. Overall, these issues fell short of expectations and impacted our experience. I hope you’ll take this feedback on board to improve services for future guests

Disappointing

Room, view, cleanliness excellent.

The address given by Booking.com was the wrong address, Oceania was a mile from this given address. We paid for parking here only to find that we were at the wrong address, a sister hotel to the one we had booked! When we arrived at the correct hotel the receptionist was to say the least unsympathetic and blamed Booking.com for the error. Surely it is the hotel's responsibility to check their details on your website. Some coffee and tea was provided in the room but not replenished and we had to go to reception in the morning to get our own coffee. Staff were on the whole helpful but one in particular was not. We wasted time, money and energy trying to check into the wrong hotel.

Stay by the beach

Perfect location by the beach and near the old town. Very friendly staff Breakfast with varieties Beautiful and practical bathroom

No table or desk in the room. The water tank of the coffee machine is big while the tap over the basin is very low so not possible to fill the water tank from tap water.

Location, exceptional view, from balcony, carpark ,lift up and down from the carpark, bathroom and shower excellent, space for all your toiletries, bed and linen very good , useful occasional tablets , just enough hanging shelves spare and you could choose when housekeeping came round, morning or afternoon.

Breakfast very badly organised. Set up in too small a space for number of people, lot's of pretty little bowls/ plates that needed refilling every two minutes and weren't so always hit and miss as to what you could have. The wine list. Very limited choice and in one visit to the bar didn't have our first choice of two whites, one rose and one red, not really acceptable.

Loved the hotel & St. Malo!

Location of this seafront hotel is excellent. In a quiet area whilst being just a short walk from St. Malo’s bustling centre. Members of staff were outstanding. Brilliant breakfast!

We would love to return to Oceania but parking is a concern. Our car is too high for the hotel’s underground car park. As it happened we were most fortunate for a car parking space to become available immediately outside of the hotel. On a positive note, street parking is very affordable - 4€ per day. The offering of light snacks for lunch/evening would be a useful addition.

Staff are an asset to this stylish hotel

Staff at front desk were lovely and really helpful e.g. lent personal charger and gave restaurant recommendation and made booking. Waiter in bar was very polite and efficient. Decor looks good. Spa was nice after a long drive.

Breakfast could have been better. Limited range available and quality could have been better. Having only one coffee machine working when there are lots of people at breakfast was unhelpful.

Great view and room.

The room was very nice, large and well laid out. The bathroom was very nice and bed was really comfortable. The balcony overlooking the beach was a nice touch. The hotel was located really close to the old city which was a bonus.

We arrive by Ferry from Guernsey, later in the evening and the inhouse restaurant was closed. Would have been nice if there had been some food available either in the room or at the bar.
