Very comfortable and great location

Placed in the centre of the town, with underground parking readily available. Really simple to get to. Rooms are big enough, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is sufficient. We arrived after closing time but the hotel allowed for this, leaving the room cards available for our late arrival. Super simple.

The room was hot when I arrived, but I could quickly cool it by turning the heaters down and popping the windows for a few minutes. No complaints here.

Very enjoyable. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Booked dinner the evening I was there because the restaurant is in the Michelin Guide. It was excellent, as was at the breakfast. Loved my corner room – very comfortable and stylish. And the location was fantastic – right in the centre of town.

Classy hotel in a fascinating town.

Sumptuous hotel interior. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. Great air conditioning. Lovely modern bathroom. Lift to get to upper floors. Nearby underground garage. Easy access to town centre, shops, cafes/restaurants. Breakfast was lovely. Plenty of choice of fresh produce. Most of the staff were really friendly and helpful (although we both felt that the lady serving at breakfast could do with warming to guests and smiling a bit more.)

Didn't have dinner in hotel As we personally felt it was quite pricey for very limited choices - sadly none were to our liking. There were a lot of roadworks and huge upheaval surrounding the outside of the hotel during our stay, which was unfortunate - but in no way the hotel’s fault. It just rather took the edge off a welcoming exterior to greet us and the exterior dining area. However I’m sure once the improvements have been made it will be really lovely again.

Not worth the money for

Hotel decor and location

Prior to my arrival I had rather poor communication from the hotel regarding an issue. It was very much « too bad for you » type of responses. Not at all customer oriented. Staff was not unfriendly but not particularly friendly. Breakfast was disappointing - at 8:20 already many items like eggs and bacon finished, coffee disgusting. My room was loud at night from the room above and from construction in the morning. Not worth the money.

We liked the location very much with an easy access to a lovely town. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was welcoming and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of fresh produce. A garage was close by with easy access to the hotel.

Great location in the town. The staff were very helpful and always very pleasant. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. The restaurant is definitely worth booking at lunch or evening. They serve lovely meals.

Our room was spacious. Breakfast was a nice, varied selection of offerings.

Staff seemed to be a bit too formal. Price point for what the area offered was more than we would have liked to spend. But I'm sure the proximity to Switzerland influences the pricing.

Excellent support for a reception and dinner party for 39 invited guests during my stay. Very supportive and creative staff. Wonderful location. Well appointed and comfortable.
